"I've been doing some research, and it isn't unheard of for there to be a shapeshifter evolved human. The issue is, nobody has been seen with that ability in at least two decades."

"So, before you were born." Toh sees her expression. "To be exact, at least nineteen years ago."

"Do you think it's from someone in my family?" Sumire wondered. 

"It's highly possible. Evolved human children tend to either inherit a mixture of their parents abilities, or something in the same category. It's not unheard of for your relatives to have passed something on, since their blood is in you."

'I suspect Kyoko has mind abilities because of the bonds Sumire has with Terashima, and Lucifer. Because she can mind speak with them.'
