"When I turned to drugs, and alcohol it was because I didn't think we would ever end up together. I didn't think I deserved you. I don't know what Kanagawa experienced in the past, but it must have been something painful if he is punishing himself even now." Yuhi trails off, catching her staring at him.

"You know, since I'm on top of you already. Maybe I should just eat."

Yuhi chuckled. "Beloved, you look exhausted. Even I know better than to touch you when you're like this."

Sumire sighs and gets off him as she lays down beside him. Yuhi immediately pulls her into his arms. He ran his hands down her back in comforting strokes, causing a content sigh to escape her lips.

"I was really busy. I thought I understood what a few days off would mean but, it seems I underestimated Angel."
