Chapter 1411: Out of danger

The Holy Knights is more than an underground organisation. They are similar to the government, except they deal with matters in the underworld. They wield the same power. One of the responsibilities of the holy knights group is to take charge of orphans, whether they lost their homes or were abandoned on the streets. Some of these orphanages were regular orphanages or churches.

The place Masaru brought her to was one of the interrogation rooms. Sumire gave him a questioning look but Masaru shrugged and explained it was the only place with privacy in the station.

"Sumire-chan!"

Sumire turned to see a girl with ginger coloured hair in braids, but half her hair was burned. Her entire face covered in dark coloured bruises. She immediately bent down and swept the girl in her arms.

"Ichika-chan, what's wrong? What happened?"
