Chapter 1302: I wanted to be normal

Sumire learned that Toh's father, and mother were alive long before he did. But, she decided not to say a word. Because she knew if he learned of their existence, he would sacrifice his dream. He would have sacrificed his dream, but he would have stayed with her. If Toh struck a deal with his father, he could have gotten out of Lucifer's orders to leave. However, if he did that he would have had to give  up his dreams of becoming a designer to follow his fathers footsteps.

'No matter how much I wanted him to stay, I could never have allowed that. If Toh knew that I not only knew they were alive but met with them, I wonder what he would think.'

Toh has been very lenient with everything she does, every lie and secret she has kept from him. But for something of this magnitude? Even he would get angry at her.

"So, now you owe me a date beautiful. When can we reschedule?" Toh asked.
