Chapter 1442: Finally catching on?

"But, if you two meet, he will drink your blood won't he?"

"I guess that is what usually happens."

Yuhi puts his gun away and caresses her cheek. "Idiot, I'm not letting that happen when you're still anaemic. You almost stumbled earlier, but you leaned against those cardboard boxes for support."

He really must have been watching over her properly, but of course he would. 

"Right, I guess we ought to split up for a bit. You can go over there and I will check-"

Just as she said those words, she heard the sound of growling and exhaled deeply. Those sounds didn't come from any evolved human, she turned around spotting creatures made out of darkness. She scans them up and down, 'Fire won't work on these creatures.'

It's almost like the one who sent these beasts knew about what happened the other day.

Sumire sighs deeply, she supposes it can't be helped.
