He not only needs to have the knowledge but to actually see. He could easily do what he did to the Lord and invade her memories, but that would be too cruel.

"Lennon, can you show me your memories?" Toh asked.

Sumire was fast asleep on his lap. The two of them watched some movies before she fell asleep.

"I can, but it's not going to be pretty." Lennon said with a grim expression. 

"Show me anyway."

In order to help her, he needs to see with his own eyes. He needs to experience her emotions.

'Damn them, I told them to quit sending the women to my room. I don't want Norah to misunderstand when I do find her.'
