Sumire leaned forward and kissed his cheek.

The cold look in Hino's eyes vanished and his cheeks turned red as he backed away. "W-what, are you doing?"

"Just testing a theory."

He can pretend to be cold hearted as much as he wants. But, in front of the girl he likes?

"Damn it." Hino cursed. He ran his fingers through his hair. "I know you don't have feelings for me, Sumire."

Sumire didn't say anything.

"Truthfully, it's gotten harder for me to be around you. That's why, this situation is for the best. I'm not like Mashima, I can't pretend."
