I don't think they were expecting that question, but it made sense to me.

"Creation knows what it's doing," I said, "which means I'm assuming everything that's happened has been for a reason." I really needed Destiny to step up here to have my back because they were looking at me like I'd lost my mind. Problem was, she had that same expression as the rest of them, so I wasn't going to find support from her. "All along I've been fighting against what Creation has been trying to do. That being enact the realignment. What if Armageddon is part of that and by blocking it, or trying to, we're making our jobs harder?"

Seshat cleared her throat, a little green around the edges. "You're suggesting we let Creation perish?" She glanced around at the others who looked even more troubled when she put it that way. In fact, her framing of my suggestion even made me think twice about it, though I shook that off with a flare of anger.
