In the Year 2048, The Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game called, ‘The Inferno’ successfully completed its thirty years of release. To celebrate the grand event, The Company which developed the game, Arteria Gaming [AG] announced the further development of the game by upgrading it to the world's first Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game under the name, 'Eternal Battlegrounds'.
The announcement of the release of the World's First VRMMORPG overwhelmed the Gamers around the world and the company sold its first 50,000 copies successfully within few hours of the release. The first server started at the designated time and every player dived into the game with the new technology called, 'Spirowyre' which was also developed by Arteria Gaming.
Antonio Weiss, A bookworm as well as the creator of a legendary character, ‘Vodrik’ in another game faces difficulty to cope up with his everyday chores. After the death of his parents, he was left all alone without anyone to care for him. But, destiny has something in its store for him.
On his seventeenth birthday, Antonio receives a mysterious package from a person named Hector Romford, who proclaims him to be a fan of Antonio’s legendary character, ‘Vodrik’. Inside the Package is a set of Eternal Battlegrounds cassette and the Spirowyre.
Strangled between Reality and Virtual Reality, Antonio finds himself trapped within the world of Asterium. To his surprise, he was the only one who was trapped in the game. One misstep will alter the course of his life; Antonio has to make choices, choices that will ask for sacrifices, choices that will force him to destroy others to ensure his survival.
The world of Asterium awaits the arrival of Antonio which will shape his and the World’s destiny. What will happen when he enters into the world where dreams become reality?
Only the time and decisions that Antonio makes will answer the question. Will he be destroyed and be consumed by the world or rise from death to conquer the world?
