Unaware of the plights of the world, Adonis continued to fight and claw his way toward victory.
After the woman with the double mutated elements, things had only gotten harder and harder as he realised how much of a disadvantage not being a cultivator was.
He could somehow match up to them using his [Stack] ability but even it had its limits.
They could wield elements, qi and had all their body parts fortified as their mind was even faster than his. When it was considered that the amount of enemies he faced would only go up, it quickly became obvious that this was truly a trial for the geniuses.
During the second wave, he fully mastered the basics and began to refine his movements and blend them into one cohesive whole. He tried to make it all flow into one perfect circle that was deeply ingrained in his blood and mind.
When the third and fourth wave came, he began to fuse his abilities with his martial abilities.
The fifth wave was simpler than the previous ones as he purely focused on further deepening his foundation to make sure his martial style would be as complete as possible.
[The Sixth Level will soon begin.]
Adonis stood strong, his body covered in blood that wasn't his own as by now, the regenerative abilities of his body had gone beyond what even he could fathom.
Before, he could heal from anything in a few days but now, even a broken bone would take no more than five minutes to heal. If he lost an arm, he guessed that it'd probably take a week or two for it to regrow.
The more his body advanced, the higher his stamina became and the more he was able to use his abilities.
Through these fights, Adonis, beyond simply creating a solid foundation, he'd been thinking about what style he wanted to embody and use for the rest of his life.
And this next battle would prove whether he'd reached his goal or not.
Six figures oozing with power suddenly appeared in front of him as the elements they wielded left the world trembling.
Adonis didn't move, looking at them with a gaze full of apathy.
"An arrogant one? Well, let's see if he's worthy of such pride."
The figures simultaneously shot at him and though they thought Adonis to be arrogant, they knew that anyone that had managed to make it to the sixth level without any lethal injuries was a monster in human form.
A man, wielding the elements of Earth, appeared before Adonis, his fist covered in molten lava as he punched forth.
Adonis' hand extended and he deflected the punch, his body body torquing forth as he landed and powerful punch to his opponent's stomach then followed with a clean chop to his head that promptly knocked his opponent out.
He took a step back, dodging a wave of compressed air as he then fell back more and rolled, dodging a gigantic swirling orb of flames.
He waved his hand and from the distance, his spear, embedded in the earth, trembled before it shot in his hand as he swung upward.
WHOOSH!
The woman that'd been descending upon him found her heart shudder in fear as Adonis' blade nearly dissected her in half.
'How did he see me…'
Her element was an extremely rare and mutated one. It was a variant mutated element of light named invisibility.
There was no way to sense her unless one had the ability to distinguish her own personal qi from the atmospheric qi but she could clearly see that Adonis didn't wield an ounce of qi which left her baffled.
Her eyes widened and she was woken out of her thoughts as a powerful gravitational force pulled her to the earth below. Just as she was about to come crashing down, Adonis kicked her body toward one of the coming elemental cultivators.
The two collided for a moment and Adonis vanished, reappearing behind the one that'd been coming as a palm flew out and she got knocked out alongside the woman who'd been wielding the invisibility element.
Three down. Three to go.
In the distance, a man wearing golden robes looked at Adonis with interest. He'd only sent the ball of fire earlier to probe Adonis but he truly didn't expect for him to be a mere mortal.
'He seems to have a gift that can control the environment around him. It must be limited since-'
Adonis' head suddenly snapped toward him and their gazes met, before the man could react, Adonis softly spoke.
{Sleep.}
The man instantly collapsed.
Adonis exhaled a deep breath then looked at the only two enemies that hadn't moved at all.
The two seemed to be twins as they were identical in all aspects except gender.
Short black and white hair, grey eyes and obsidian robes.
Suddenly, they spoke in unison.
"You are strong."
Their bodies turned to liquid then fused with one another as soon, a new body took shape with long grey hair and deep black and white pupils and an androgynous figure.
"But it will not be enough, boy."
Adonis didn't have the time to think or ready himself as a punch slid across his face and a palm dug into his chest, ripping out a few of his ribs as his opponent followed with a high kick that sent his head spinning.
His opponent grabbed his arm then spun and sent him crashing down into the Arena's walls.
BOOM!
Relentlessly, his opponent continued as a sea of white flames came down crashing onto him, so powerful and hot even he felt the need to scream in pain under such power.
'What kinda fucking element is that?-'
Pillars of lightning fell from the skies and struck him with terrifying power as at that moment, his life truly flashed before his eyes.
[Layer; 1500x]
After the first level, Adonis had stopped using [stack] so much so he could refine his prowess but now, he was left with no other choice.
[Command: Concentrate.]
