Chapter 130: Throwing bets

"This is not going to end well," Zena could already see where this situation was going to head, given that her brother was not going to back down.

Neither would Noah as he came especially to warn Nicolai.

Zayden, on the other hand, was amused by the tension rising in the room. He seemed quite interested in who would throw hands first. He turned to Zena and said, "Zen, why don't we make a bet? If Noah throws hands, then I will win and if Nicolai does, then you will win?"

Hearing his words, Zena was speechless. Was this the time to make bets?

Seeing that she was uninterested Zayden clicked his tongue. He turned to look at Jon, and he questioned, "What about you, Jon? Dare to make a bet?"

"I bet two thousand dollars on Mister de Luca," Jon had heard about Noah and his temper. He was the kind of man who did not raise his voice even when he was on the verge of losing his temper.
