Chapter 244: Threats and intimidation

"Finally, the Queen has graced us with her presence," a sarcastic voice chimed inside the office and Ariana scrunched her burrows. She stepped inside the office and came face to face with the man who was standing in the middle of the office while a woman sat on the consultant chair. 

The man with his pompous yet good-looking face turned on his feet such that he was facing Ariana completely. 

"Where were you? Do you have any idea how long we have been waiting for you here?" The man questioned Ariana as if she was a criminal headed for the gallows. 

"It seems you have some misunderstanding, sir. I cannot be your consulting doctor," though annoyed by the condescending tone of the man, Ariana politely said to him, "My duty doesn't start until four in the evening, it's two in the afternoon, sir." 

Mister Sandler however waved his hand and said, "We were referred here, now stop wasting my time and diagnose her." He tipped his chin to the woman who flinched.
