Chapter 374: The Cruel Truth

In a large mansion, on the west of the Lonest City, one of the security guards pushed Ari inside a bedroom. When she had woken up, Ari had tried her best to escape but to no avail, Ariel had kicked her again and again on her wound until the fight in Ari's body vanished. 

Ari covered her wound, which had started to bleed again. She raised her head and looked at Ariel, who seemed rather smug upon seeing her pitiful condition. 

"Why?" Ari asked with a grim expression. Her eyes filled with hatred. She recognized this place better than anyone. "Why did you do it?" 

Ariel let out a bark of disbelieving laughter. She turned her head to the side before rolling her eyes and then twisted her neck such that she was looking at Ari again. 

"Why? Do you even have to ask?" She said with her arms crossed in front. "You ruined everything, Ari. I could have become Mrs Nelson. I could have lived the life which I dreamed of, but you—your very existence ruined everything."
