"Why are you asking about this?" Inez asked. As she had never seen her son take an interest in the opposite gender like such in fact, she was certain that Nicolai had never even had a crush on a girl when he was a teen.

"I am just testing something," Nicolai answered with a frown on his face. He needed to know what was the point of getting attracted to such a woman when he could have anyone. Sure she was good-looking but not to the point that he lost interest in other women.

"Testing?" Inez's brows furrowed, she could not understand her son. So she turned to look at Kieran who sighed and said to Nicolai, "What's the problem son, just tell us what changed your mind."

"I did not change my mind," Nicolai countered. "It's my friend like I said."

"Maybe your friend has a crush on this woman?" Zayden offered as he popped the cherry tomato from his salad in his mouth, and Nicolai almost ran his fist in his face.
