Chapter 235: Apology

Ariana gaped at the man who had called her rude. She pushed herself off the couch and jutted her finger out such that she could point it at herself.

"Did you just call me rude?" Her expression was filled with disbelief and anger. Not once in her life, she had been called rude.

"Yeah, yeah," Nicolai nodded as he brought his face close to Ariana's. "I did, I called you rude."

"I beg your pardon?"

"Even if you call for my biggest pardon that I fucking don't own, I will still call you rude!" Nicolai snapped at Ariana's face. "I fucking saved you, Pallas, you could have been stuck there for ages with rain falling on the top of your head, and you could have caught a cold. And I did this after setting aside," he made a motion of picking one thing and putting it to the side," the anger and complaints that I have against you. But no, instead of a thank you, what do I get?"

His voice rose and fell in the room as he finished speaking.
