Equinox Pilot Chapter
Two great beings the size of stars appear out of no where above our sky...legends of our past thought myth clashing with one another in a battle to the death. Every blow, every strike vibrates through every atom on the planet, their blood pours onto Gaia...causing natural disasters to occur. Tsunamis, earthquakes, hurricanes appear as if the world itself is screaming in agony! Trying its best to distance itself from these gods of destruction. At that very moment People across the planet feel some sort of connection that was always there with the planet but was always out of reach. Everyone looks up as these giants rampage blocking out the sun as it it were a eclipse. We all watch in awe and disbelief. Those of faith begin praying to their gods, scientist around the world scramble trying to understand, comprehend what the fuck is happening. World leaders left entirely useless in the wake of something that made them second guess all their decisions. Our strongest nations all knelt before a cataclysmic event that nothing could have prepared us for. We were reminded of our place in the universe but also that we were always apart of it at the very same time. We experience fear but also a warmth that seems both new and forgotten. Who were we? Why were we here? Those questions run through all of our minds as if the world is connected to us in more ways than we could explain. We were suffering but we were also home. We didn't care for race, wealth, religion or color for the first time in our history that we knew of.
And then it happens, one of the beings lands a finishing blow. Spilling its contents on to the star system, on to our home, on to our mother....earth screams.....something awakens reconnecting not just the planet but everyone to something we had lost centuries ago when the nation that lead our world was known as Atlantis. The world reforms, lives are lost, governments crumble, our lands shift, magic....our very spirit pours back onto our planet. Animals, humans and even creatures believed to be of fairytales begin to awaken after the great rebirthing of our world.
At the same time elsewhere....a soldier battles for his life. Killed, risking his all without a second thought to protect the innocent...a deal was struck and he lost something he could never gain back....he awakes to a world in shambles...he awakens just as everyone else begins to walk out into a new tomorrow. This story is how one man helped us put things into motion that showed us that our history was stolen from us. That we were more than just what was taught to us in our history books. We will remember who we are, why we lost it and how we got it all back. This is our path towards our Equinox!
