Chapter 280: A Sudden Menace Approaches

Nesephise and Abyss spent a bit of the morning singing. Abyss wanted to see if she could help Nesephise improve her singing a bit, while still being worried about Chaos, she couldn't do much other than help the girl that could be the key on freeing him.

She had also grown a bit closer to her, Nesephise was simply a very nice girl to all, and Abyss might had made a good friend, even if they had spent little time together.

However, at the end, although Abyss felt like there was some sort of magical power within Nesephise's voice as she sang, she felt that there was something missing…

"There's something missing within you that makes the effects of your songs not take effect completely… I can tell because my very voice also has this "effect" when I sing… Have you really been putting all your heart into it, Nesephise?" asked Abyss.

Nesephise sighed as she looked at Abyss with puppy eyes.
