Chapter 128: Memories of the Past

The smell of coffee was enough to wake me up. I jolted up, eyes alert. Almost immediately, the memories of the events that transpired before I slept filled my head. 

A sigh left my mouth.

Upon checking my phone, I realized that Xu Je'er called me. Ten missed calls and fiteen messages. She even went as far as going to my previous apartment not knowing that I moved a long time ago. 

Shaking my head, I got out of my bed. A part of me was immediately relieve when I didn't see Mr. Quinn around. Another confrontation isn't really good for my heart, right now.

Looking at the time, I realized I actually slept for seven hours. It was already four in the afternoon. I immediately gave Xu Je'er a call, telling her there was an emergency. Sadly, her phone was unreachable.
