Chapter 301: Make a wish

When Luciana finished speaking, Cardan was still silent as he thought about it.

This Zephyr was a frigid man. If the tale was something to go by, then he killed his companion of years because she wished for it yet he refused to love her. 

Somehow, it reminded him of his father. His father could break the heavenly rules to make a mortal reincarnate just because he loved her. And even when she has been dead for years, he would rather remain inside her old chamber than look at some other woman. 

No wonder Zephyr and Atlas were said to be great friends. They were rather similar in certain aspects. 

''What are you thinking?"

He looked at Luciana, ''I was wondering why he could not pretend to love her if he cared for her. It might have helped in resolving their troubles.''
