Chapter 4: Mr. Famous Now
*On my way to school, girls were literally gawking at me. The attention felt sudden. By the time I reached school I was hearing what they were whispering. Something like 'oh!gosh he's soo cute. I just want to cuddle him.', 'I can't believe, he's so sexy.'. Someone even shouted that she wants to have my babies.
I became the proudest man alive at this moment,
It felt as though my past glory had returned. I went to my classroom, everyone looked at me wild eyed. I just sat on my seat, turns out Rias sit's next to me. Looks like I can annoy her when I want.*
"Hello there~ Mister White Knight. How are you doing?~" Rias teased.
I looked at her and said with a straight face, "I can be your Knight if you want."
"Shut up." Rias pouted.
"by the way how did I become so famous?"
"You saved the girls in the changing room from getting peeked at and you beat a famous kendo practitioner of our school hence White Knight. ~How does the title feel~"
"It's okay but I'd prefer if nobody called me with that. Wait I have a question since I am the Knight, will you be my princess?" I looked at her in curiosity.
"What!! No." She turned her face away from me.
"Is that a blush I see there Rias~?"
She quietly said, "Shut up."
"Students stand up, the teacher has come." A random student said.
*The teacher barked some literature, which I didn't really care about. I was solving some equations to make a suit which was durable and flexible. Able to handle most supernatural powers such as flames, high pressure water, wind, impact, thunder etc. Though I have to make it early since a fight might be upcoming. Can I make it stylish? That's a tough question. I paid attention to the teacher when it changed to math.*
(After 4 sessions.)
*Classes's finally ended. Rias went to her club. This Kiba dude approached me out of nowhere.*
"Blackwood-san, Rias-sama has called for you. Please come with me."
"Let's go then."
The girls started gossiping like fangirl's at seeing us walking together. They said some shit that made me almost puke. The audacity of these bitches was obscene, I stared at them as if they took away my last sandwich during picnic. Kiba consoled me saying it was a common matter. He tried to touch me but I hit his hand away. The girls squealed even more at that. He led me to the club.
"Hello, Patrick-san. Tomorrow's the day we set out to the Forest of Familiars to get some familiars for us. You can also accompany us if you want to." Said Akeno.
"I'll go with you guys." I replied.
"Wait a sec." saying that Rias opened a teleportation circle below our feet and teleported us to a dark, damp forest with trees towering above us. A old little man was waiting for us there.
"Welcome! to my humble abode, Miss Gremory." The man gave a bow.
"Hello. I believe my brother has talked to you about the arrangements."
"Yes. I know. Please follow me."
We followed him as he walked through the forest.
"In here you don't choose the familiar, the familiar choose's you."
"The only one who needs a familiar here is Patrick right?" Rias said.
"Yes."
"Hm... Patrick-kun. What are you looking for?"
"Preferably a strong companion."
Saying that seemed to trigger something. A tremendous pressure could be felt hinting at us to kneel. Turns out a tiger was the reason behind this. He was walking slowly infront of me. It stared at me and said,
"I have never seen someone like you human. Why are you here?"
" I have come to take a companion. What about you?"
"I have no interest in becoming someone's slave. Human." It looked at me haughty.
"As I said companion, not slave. Nonetheless don't you want to visit the outside world? Do you want to stay at a forest all your life?"
The tiger looked composed, "Why should I be yours?"
"What do you want me to do?"
"Fight. Defeat me." It glared at me.
"No, Pat. It's dangerous." Rias and Akeno said at the same time.
"It's okay." I assured them.
*It's good that I repeatedly stabbed myself, now I am stab-proof. I also had drunk poison. I have some good chances in this fight. I don't think that fighting Tiamat would be possible for me right now. So, this was a blessing.*
The Tiger lept at me threatening to tear my face. I crossed him and hit him at the eye. He growled and backed off, his left eye was bleeding now. I used Muhammad Ali's footwork and surrounded him. He managed to hit my chest and tear some muscles though it healed. Taking advantage that he got close to me, I used Tyson's technique and bit him. I held him when he was about to back away, threw a right cross at his ribs. Broke them. Then Broke his mentality.
"Okay!! Fine I accept you as my master." The Tiger said tired that I was beating him senselessly.
"I'll stop." I said while smiling. The others were looking at this with wide eyes.
"Show me your neck." The tiger said obediently.
I showed him my neck and he bit me there, I was immediately hit with a feeling of weakness and fatigue. The tiger backed away and said now I was his master. I was feeling hot, I tore my clothes away only to see a tattoo of a tiger on my left chest. I asked him about this,
"Why this?"
"This signifies that you have a familiar and you can use my abilities such as Night Vision, Superhuman Strength, Evolved Endurance, Animal Instincts, Fangs and Mana."
The tiger replied arrogantly.
"Not that impressive considering that I was able to beat you." I looked at him with a deadpan expression.
"....Well, that was merely a fluke and I didn't even use my mana abilities against you." The tiger replied embarrassed.
"....Anyway. Let's go." I said.
With getting myself a familiar, I went with the group to return to school.
"By the way, Why don't you become small? so that you could pass off as a cat and roam around with me." I said addressing the big cat.
"Fine. But no one can touch me." The big cat transformed into a smaller version.
I picked him up and paced him on my shoulder. He hung on my neck for comfort. The women seeing a cat naturally wanted to pet it but they remember his rules.
"Rias, I should go now. If you need me for anything call me." gave her my phone number.
The day had ended and I wanted to go home and test out this cat. What it can do.
Oh! I forgot about Sona, didn't I?
