Chapter 267: Chapter 67 The holy capital
The airship flew down to the majestic field where it was decorated with marbles and white stones to showcase the power of the kingdom. There were multiple anchors across the field as many ships were flying on and off through a few minutes.
However, the anchor they landed down was the special anchor which held the airship of the kingdom. It was heavily protected by the knights and soldiers to prevent any danger to the ship as well as the passengers despite its defense capabilities.

Licht blocked his eyes to block the sunlight as he looked toward the area where he saw the carriage was waiting for them. Unlike horse-drawn carriage, it was a fully automated carriage that was equipped with various items to relax its guests. Obviously, the price of such a vehicle was so expensive that even royalties weren't able to afford it except the kingdom.
" Tsk*"
Agam clicked his tongue after seeing the carriage, knowing this cost hundreds of thousands to make this thing. He preferred using such wealth for the people over such useless items.
" The creatures will be transported by our delegates and don't worry about their safety. No one in our company is foolish enough to mess with a royal scorpion."
Theseus spoke gently, telling them to follow him to the carriage which was adorned with gems. The logo of the kingdom shone brightly under their eyes as they entered the carriage with different faces but they had to admit that this thing was cool and comfortable.
Especially when it blew cold air to cool them off, they felt alive after staying in a hot desert for a few days. There was also gentle vibration to massage their tired bodies and it also had some snacks around the armrest.
" Please, serve yourselves."
Theseus motioned them to eat the snacks as he took out his pen to record the unusual sightings near High Sand. He didn't try to hide the report before their eyes because it was just useless as plain paper.
" Look outside!"
Cynthia exclaimed with a loud voice as they shifted their focus to outside where they saw the giant city. It was as clean as it looked and it was created from marble and gold-like metals that shone brightly under the sun.
Furthermore, the city was clean as they saw no slums or poor people. Everyone was smiling and happily chatting with each other in clean clothes and they seemed to be polite to others from the outside.
" The capital is the most beautiful city in the world. Not only do churches regulate the area, but we also help the citizens to be safe and healthy. Hence, most of the people around here are well off to feed themselves. But you have to remember that we have also the highest product price in the world. Living here isn't easy as it is costly."
Horus explained with a plain tone when he saw their eyes. As a cardinal, he saw many people try to live in this dreamy city but in the end, everything had equal sides. Unless one is extremely wealthy or smart enough to live here, this wasn't the place for the normal folks.
" What about Yelena and others?"
Leah asked with curiosity after seeing Demi people in the streets. However soon her hope was crushed because Horus reminded her that this wasn't the place for hope once again.
" They are alright but they still face discrimination due to old doctrine and many people despise them and the same applies to them ironically. I don't understand why we hate each other in the first place since the war had been ended a long time ago."
Horus pointed at the elf who was eyeing the human with disgust in his eyes. He was muttering something in his mouth as he turned around to leave the area.
" What did he say, Yelena?"
Cynthia asked with interest because she saw he was cursing the woman in his eyes.
" I don't want to tell but he was ostracized by the elves because we don't allow such vulgar words."
Yelena spoke with a cold face when she heard his words. As an elf who valued elven tradition, it was unimaginable to curse out in elven language.
