Chapter 198: Chapter 6 Agam
" So, how are gonna find a guide who can travel with us?"
Mikael asked, holding his bow with a serious face. The others were also thinking the same, but there was no answer until they reached the port city. Akusan-Ur was lit up brightly even in the darkness, showing the grandiose city with vibrant colors. They saw the people that were laughing happily in the city and surprisingly there was no slum in the city, unlike their continent.
Akusan was a rich city and so were other southern cities. There were almost no slums even though the social classes existed in the society.
Suddenly, a man with a handsome face and a lean yet muscular body. He was smiling to his ears and he smelled great.
" Ladies, my name is Agam."
A few hours later in a certain famous bar in Akusan.
Agam looked at Licht and his teammates with distress because he felt his pocket was being drained out as they devoured his money in front of his face. He felt like he was being slapped in the face with the ugliest woman whom he would fear.
" So, you are our new guide, huh? Nice to meet you. Name is Daemon and as you can see I am their vanguard."
Daemon said calmly, biting down the infamous leg of an ocean cow. Every drop of juice in the meat made Agam's face ashen because it was that expensive. However, when he saw the 4 women that were sitting next to him, he felt a little more calmer.
" I haven't agreed on that yet. Besides, shouldn't we discuss payment, and why are trying to hire me?"
Agam asked with suspicion, feeling a little cold toward Mikael and Licht who were sitting there without any word. He could tell they were strong people by the behavior of their moves. Both of them had calculus on their hands and their aura was no joke even for him.
" I will give you a generous amount of money and I will comply with your one request, but they have to be within certain boundaries."
Regina replied, raising her head while drinking coffee with a pleased face. She could finally breathe out with confidence because the problem solved itself without any complications. It sailed as smooth as the boat sailing in sunny say with gentle wind.
" Oh, you found the right man since I was bored here. Let's move out tomorrow. As for my request. Can I request your hand for 2 days as a dating partner? I promise you that there will be no body contact because I am a gentleman."
Agam smirked, gulping the fruit wine in one shot. The silence fell on them as they looked at him with some pity. Agam felt ominous about their gazes, but he couldn't peel off his eyes from her.
" Don't regret it later."
Regina spat out coldly, looking at him with a venomous gaze that sent chills down his spine. His body unknowingly trembled from the pressure and he found her eyes turned sharp.
" Ah, I should prepare for a burial site, right?"
Leah scratched her head with confusion, knowing Agam wouldn't be in one piece because only Licht could put her in place. Otherwise, she would turn into a cold justice machine that doesn't know no boundaries. She even dared to beat up a noble from another country because he committed a crime in her district.
" I will help you."
Even cheerful Cynthia gazed at him with pity. She was sure he could somehow survive if he wanted to date them, but Regina was an exceptional woman in her recognition. She was even more vicious than Leah and sharper than Lisha.
" This won't end in a good way, so please try to restrain yourself a bit, cap."
Licht spoke gently, patting Agam's shoulders who was clearly regretting his decision after witnessing such a sight. He now understood this hot and beautiful lady was a rose with thorns, no she was the thorn itself by the looks of it. He hadn't bothered to look at her weapon before, but looking at that huge rifle with a modified scope made him break out with a cold sweat.
" Shit, I screwed up."
He muttered under his breath.
