Chapter 913: Sounds of Pain

Liu Chuan stared at Shang Jianyao for a while before saying, "Nobody lives inside, but there's often some slight commotion coming from inside."

"Nobody went in to explore? Nobody died inside?" Shang Jianyao pressed.

Liu Chuan replied, "I don't know if anyone entered before I entered the New World. Many friends warned me after my entry not to attempt to explore places that are clearly strange."

His meaning was simple: He had no impression of anybody entering the compound, so naturally, nobody had died inside.

Shang Jianyao had a look of disappointment. "Then, why were you nervous and afraid?"

Liu Chuan didn't want to explain any further and repeated his previous words. "You can return to your place now. I'll inform you before the operation is underway."

"Alright." Shang Jianyao didn't force the issue and waved his hand coolly. "See you later."
