Synopsis

The author did a good job in revealing the layers of the main characters gradually as the story unfolds. The male character Yan Rusheng, although suave, handsome and wealthy, came across as a bad-tempered womanizer at the beginning of the story. But as the plot thickens, a deeper and hidden side of him was being unveiled as he struggled to understand what is love. It felt like the reader is discovering his love for the female character at the same time as he did. The female character Wen Xuxu, was portrayed as a talented, charming and unyielding character. The later chapters explain why she was so well-loved by her foster family, friends and her admirers. The story also hints at the secret she had kept from everyone, especially Yan Rusheng. The supporting characters were all well-written especially Jiang Zhuoheng. He was portrayed as the perfect boyfriend who would leave girls swooning over him. He is devoted, filial, gentle and thoughtful. The story also balances the romance with other themes by highlighting how close-knitted the Yan family and Wen Xuxu were, and also the relationship between Wen Xuxu and her grandfather.

Is this gonna have a bunch of crazy misunderstandings? 'Cause I'm not about that crying everyday life. Secrets are fun and all but if it's like "bringing the nations husband home" I'm bailing. I really am looking forward to it if it's going to be at least a little bit fluffy, so definitely giving it all my star stones or whatever they are. They sympnosis is pretty gucci and I'm hoping I'll like it if it gets voted.
I'm hoping this is a great story! I would love to see more romance books. Hopefully this book is evenly paced and isnt infuriating to read like some other books on here.
Ohhh Just by reading the summary, I sincerely hope that this would be a good one!! As the saying goes, “ the more you hate, the more you love.” Now the real question is, who would be the possessive one? Fufufufufufufufufu
Another story about a woman who swallows all her dignity (why do they call it pride?) and suffering for a forced marriage with an abusive assh*le who hurts her both **icologically and phisically because he's jealous (or whatever other reason he finds justifies his actions) disguised as a charming love story... Sincerely, it makes me want to puke and slap a lot of people out of their hurtfull cliches.
I'm sooooo excited to read this, it has a very good plot I'm very lucky to have found this story. I'm really hoping that it will win so that it will be published first, I bet its a really very very very good, excellent and an exciting story...well I'm only gonna describe it in one word: PERFECT!!!.

After reducing summary I don't think the story is that promising and interesting to read and I don't have high hopes.. By choosing this novel as next translation.. Their r many other good options out their.. Honestly I already read some parts of the story but I was looking at the rating and the comments and (this is my opinion and you can hate it as much as u want but I’m saying what I’m thinking) honestly if you hate the genre and the type why are you rating it so low without even knowing. Sure it may be long but some like long stories and some don’t but literally you’re affecting the rating of a book and even tho you may not like ceo aloof modern romance some people enjoy it but basing your rating on that is just awful? Literally I don’t get it what does what you enjoy have to be part of the rating of a book. Literally the book is rated by character design, world background ,story development, stabilty of updates, and translation quality. It isn’t based on what you like and you people haven’t even read it yet how can you judge it just like that. Honestly better to check it out first and read it.

I took interest and starting to read raw. Im on 300 chaps now. The story is slow but interesting. Theres alot of unspeakable feeling that lead to misunderstanding.
Just read a few chapters so far but the interactions are funny. The male lead is player (recently read so many books where a man is only able to even talk to only one woman; really as if women are not half the world population), but decisive. He doesn’t allow the female lead to be bullied despite not being in a yet. No sign of love but the fights are funny. Love it so far.

most of these ladies books are rinse and repeat at this point. modern cold men/women working hard forced into marriages. every so often does it spice up and be some fluff piece
WTH webnovel! Another long romance novel that will most likely hit the top of the power rankings? I just checked the raws and apparently this series has over 1.8k chaps in raw. I would rather prefer something short with an actual plot than a whole 1.8k chaps of ups and downs for no reasons. I have to admit I have never ever read a romance novel for more than 300chaps. Do you know why? (maybe because I am a male and can't relate to females) It gets damn repetitive. If you could chose a novel with quality instead of quantity, I would probably actually be able to complete a Romance Novel for once that is not original. I just read a romance novel that I consider to be short yet good on royal road, going back to webnovel, I see another series with plot that is so long and unnecessary that I will probably never be able to remember half of it.
