Chapter 86: 86) Broken

I had no idea when Vasili had convinced me to go back home as I lay in my bed. To be honest I had no idea for how long I was even in my bed for. The only thing I was sure of was the aching in my chest as the painful rejection of my mother played again and again in my head. 

I was too upset to eat, which was a shocker to everyone and I did not wish to leave my bedroom anytime soon. The curtains were closed as I consumed myself in my own misery. I knew I was throwing a bit of a fit and pity party but could you blame me. Dad was open and welcoming I thought Mum would be the same. 

I was terribly wrong. 

Amanda sat next to me playing with the curls of my hair as Delunca crawled around the room. She was more than upset about what Mum had done to me. That she herself cut her off. Dad had not even bothered to go see her and chose to stay with us for a few days till he was confident I was okay.
