Chapter 47: Waking up in a new place

When Ethan woke up after what seemed like a long, long sleep, he was a bit overwhelmed to find himself alone in a neat bed and a rocky room. 

With a dull ache at the back of his head, Ethan first checked upon Scarlett and heaved a huge sigh of relief when he found her safely inside his Dimensional Pocket. 

Her time was stopped, and she was still in the Fairy Form; her expression was not that good either. It was a lot pale and rather fearful.

Emmy was also in his Dimensional Pocket. If he remembered correctly, he had not given her to the Patriarch or Matriarch. He had just fallen unconscious without giving her.

Emmy was his insurance—he had saved her, and if his demands were not met and if he were to be ganged upon by those strong cultivators, he would kill her.

In his heart of hearts, he had already noted the three heads—Human Matriarch, Spirit Patriarch, and the Storm Dream Patriarch—as dead.
