She kissed him and licked her lips. "I am greedy, Ethe. Super duper greedy. I want you for myself. If I have more souls, I can use them to possess a bird or an animal and become your Familiar myself. This art would split my soul into two pieces, and each would be my own consciousness. I want to train it. I will be your Familiar."

"I'd rather not have a Familiar than lose you," Ethan's reply this time was cold. "This conversation is heading nowhere. Come give me a kiss instead and drop the matter."

She didn't fall for the allure.
