Chapter 1983: Threat

"Who the hell are you?! Such arrogance!" exclaimed one of the magus emissaries, their expressions betraying a mix of shock and indignation. Another emissary turned a gaze toward Queen Soonhee, who appeared as surprised as he did. In reply the emissary shifted his gaze to Kasim, the sole magus of the Alvanic Kingdom, saying, "Don't blame me for this!"

Without hesitation, the emissary launched a powerful lightning punch at Emery. To his astonishment, Emery was able to block the attack.

"A magus!" he exclaimed, realizing that there was another magus present, and a young one at that. The other two emissaries shared in the revelation.

"Huh, a new moon and an old magus don't scare us!" declared one emissary, attempting to mask his unease.
