Chapter 20: 20 : Mysterious Helper
I went in the middle door because I heard some gunshots in that room.
I opened the other door and saw someone.
" Who are you? Where's our leader?! "
I asked.
" Why would I know? "
The guy in a mask said.
He went towards me and punched me in the stomach.
" Not bad.. "
I said then I kicked his knees.
I pinned him down and removed his mask.
" What?! "
I was shocked.
" Why'd you remove that?! "
She said.
" You're not a man? "
I asked.
" Isn't that obvious? "
She asked.
" Raiders are all man right? "
I asked her.
" The hell? Of course woman can be raiders too. Are you out of your mind? "
She said.
" Plus, I've been tasked to stay here. "
She added.
I looked everywhere and didn't saw Chris.
" This girl's my ally. Don't hurt her. "
I said to her.
Then I carried Sandra at my back.
" If you're one of our enemy, why are you talking to me instead of attacking me? "
I asked.
" Well I don't really care about this group.
I just want to be safe until I find someone that I love...I want to see him once again. "
She said.
" What's your name? "
I asked her.
" Don't ask. I'm your guardian angel because I spared your life didn't I? I killed these guys for her. "
She said and we went outside.
I dropped Sandra down in the corner and went in the other door where Denis is.
" Please be safe Denis. Wait for me. "
And I rushed off to reach him.
I opened it and saw someone in the chair.
" Chris?! "
I said.
I turned the chair in front of me and saw Denis.
" Fuck! "
I checked his pulse.
" Who are you mister? "
A deep familiar voice.
" Don't point that gun at me. "
I said.
" Who are you? "
I asked.
" Don't you remember me, Felix? "
He said.
I reached for my gun but I was too late.
" Goodnight. "
