The World Over Heaven: It is an exceptionally powerful short-range Stand, with an effective manifestation range of approximately 10 meters. Despite requiring close proximity to inflict damage, its overwhelming physical power and nearly unstoppable time control make it undoubtedly one of the most dangerous Stands. The World is powerful enough for its user to be capable of flight.
Super Strength/Senses/Speed/Precision: The World Over Heaven possesses incredible, phenomenal strength, senses, precision, and speed. DIO claims that The World is even stronger and faster than Star Platinum, as it outpaced the latter in a clash of rapid punches between the two. Its primary offense is generally characterized by a burst of rapid punches and occasional kicks.
Reality Overwrite: The World Over Heaven gains the new divine power of reality overwriting, allowing DIO to practically rewrite anything in time. The potential scope of this ability appears to be limitless, as this power can be used to rewrite the existence of anything he desires, steal/absorb souls and use them as slaves, heal himself, resurrect the dead, and completely negate almost any defense. However, this power suffers a significant limitation: it can only be initiated through the fists of The World Over Heaven, meaning the Stand would have to strike something to be able to rewrite it.
Time Stop: The original ability of The World, which allows DIO to halt the flow of time. In stopped time, DIO can move his own body freely along with any object he touches and wishes to move, enabling him to strike at defenseless enemies, reposition himself, and play with his victims. All the force applied by DIO during the time stop continues to exist after the time stop. Another unique feature of time stop is how DIO can seemingly float in stopped time. Since there are no forces other than the existence of the time stop during a time stop, there is no gravity, allowing DIO to move freely in space as he wishes with the assistance of his Stand. The World's time stop ability has an infinite duration, allowing him to do as he pleases to his heart's content.
