Chapter 93: Warnings On Both Sides!

The floors of the casino had a nice tight red carpet. Vitiate was already done modifying the machines, so he left elsewhere. He had left the casino to visit the Dwarves to see what they were up to; they rarely came out of their shop, so the other slaves would bring them food and water instead.

Vitiate appreciated their hard work, though he had yet to see what they had been working on. However, he told them what he wanted them to work on, so he hoped they got at least one component done.

Vitiate walked into the shop with no problem; the door wasn't locked so he approached the counter.

Ding!

Vitiate clicked the shiny metal bell on the counter. Within a few seconds, the Dwarf with the blue hair showed up. This was the trash-talking sister and the youngest sister.

"Oh, boss, you're actually visiting us?" She seemed too surprised to see Vitiate.

"I came here like 2 days ago, why are you making it seem like I haven't co..." Vitiate paused and changed the subject, "Did you guys finish any components of the armor I asked you to make?"

Vitiate didn't finish what he said earlier because he saw her mischievous smile, it reminded him of the annoying Dragon.

"Yes, but we only got done with one part, and that's just the chest plate." The dwarf nodded.

"Perfect, I would like to see it. I'll need to use it in 2 days for my Dungeon raid." Vitiate wanted to see the quality of the armor.

"Mhm, okay, I'll be right back!" The Dwarf quickly turned and ran towards the back room. Vitiate turned to the shop and could see many different sets of armor. There were no weapons, they seemed to be putting their time into armor more than anything else.

The shop was still closed, but the twins planned to open the place up in 2 days. Right then, he turned because he could hear her coming back. Once she appeared, she was with her sister, who was helping her carry the armor.

They put the armor on a separate table close by that was meant just for this.

Vitiate took a look at the armor's stats.

...

[Frost-Forge] (Rare)

|Chest Plate|

Equipment Requirement: 250 Strength

Ice Resistance +25, Defense +35, Critical Hit Resistance +28, Force Resistance +30, Sharpness Resistance +35,

Durability 120/120

Additional Attribute: N/A

...

The Armor Plate was Dark Blue and Cyan, with a tint of green around it. Vitiate could obviously see that it was a Rare Graded plate. As for the stats, it should be good according to their rank but he knew they were good because he had seen many Rare Grade items.

The problem was getting his hands on Unique Items; this is what he wanted. This was also the second time he saw a weapon that had a requirement—with the first being his Cursed weapons.

"What do you think? Is it to your liking?" The red-headed dwarf asked. She could see that Vitiate was staring at the armor for a while, so she couldn't tell if he liked it or not.

"Hehe, he's staring at it really hard, he must like it!" The blue-haired dwarf smiled and looked at Virtiate's expression.

Vitiate stored the armor silently.

"Yes, this is really good, though, it doesn't any Additional Attributes, it'll do." Vitiate nodded and said.

"Additional Attributes? Hehe, once you get the full set, you'll be able to get the Additional Attribute when they're all worn together." The red-headed dwarf said with a grin.

"Oh, really? That'll be nice, I wonder what the Additional Attribute will be?" Vitiate was now curious.

"Hahaha, boss, we can't tell, it'll be a surprise for later!" The blue-haired twins intervene with laughter.

"That's right, we won't tell you!" Nodded the red-headed twin.

"Okay, I guess it's better to see the...surprise." Vitiate wanted to honestly know now, but he could wait.

"I'll see you guys later, don't work yourselves to death, Lyra and Lyla." The red-headed dwarf was named Lyla, while the blue-headed twin's name was Lyra.

"Okay, boss, we'll see you when we see you." They waved at him and went back into the backroom after he left.

Leaving the store, he had a few questions dealing with a few things. So, he wanted to head to his office and reach out to Lily in order to ask her a few things. As he was walking, he bumped into one of his slaves that was cleaning a handrail.

She turned around quickly, apparently spooked by the bump but once she saw who it was, she started to panic.

"Sorry, sorry, I'm sorry, boss, sorry!" She bowed in quick successions.

He knew who she was right away, she didn't even need to turn around for him to know. It was the Nymph, she had green skin and dark green hair; so she stuck out the most.

"It's okay, you can continue with what you were doing." He was the one that bumped into her, so it was strange to apologize. However, she was a slave, so she would always be seen as wrong in every case.

"Yes, thank you, sorry, sorry, for saying sorry!" The Nymph contiuned to bow, expressing how sorry she was. Vitiate didn't say anything more and went on his way towards his office to be alone. Once he was out of her sight, she lifted her head and touched her chest while breathing sighs of relief.

Vitiate made it to his office and sat behind his desk, then he reached out to Lily.

...

Terror Mountain.

At this time, a dragon circled around the volcano 2 times before landing on it. However, there was someone on the back of this dragon; if Vitiate saw this individual he would remember her as Lissandra!

Lissandra slowly got off the back of the Wyvern before looking around. Suddenly, a strange force locked onto her, she quickly used her Mana to block to invisible attack!

"Are you done messing around, Diana? Come out, I know you're watching me." Lissandra said indifferently.

"Oh, was that you, Lissandra? I couldn't recognize you through all of this terrible weather." Diana appeared out of the rain; her tone sarcastic.

"You're injured badly, but you have the audacity to act sarcastic in front of me?" Lissandra smirked and narrowed her eyes at Diana.

"Oh, did you come here to fight me? I'm sorry, I'm not up to fighting anyone right now, I'm on vacation." Diana ignored the threatening words coming from Lissandra.

"Tsk! I'm not here to fight, I'm here to warn you. Can we talk in a better place, instead of this unnatural weather?" Lissandra scoffed.

"Seriously, you're already on my nerves for bringing this shitty lizard to my home!" Diana's expression turned cold, then she glared at the Wyvern.

The Wyvern was already on high alert against Diana and wanted to fly away elsewhere after dropping Lissandra off.

"Oh, calm down—Nala, go wait for me until I call you over, afterward," Lissandra ordered her Wyvern, and without hesitation, it flew up and away.

"There, is that better?" Lissandra said somewhat annoyingly.

"Yes, it's better!" Diana smiled happily.

With that, they entered Diana's home to talk.

"I'm always surprised with your taste, I always expect the floor to be made out of feathers instead of carpet." Lissandra looked around with knitted eyebrows.

"And I'm surprised you can dress so elegantly, I'd expect the hardcore type like you to be suited in full heavy-duty armor." Diana took a seat and pointed the where she should sit.

"Try wearing more clothes yourself; anyone can almost see everything." This was surely so with this weather and her getting wet and all.

"All creatures are born naked, I am no ashamed of showing my body. Of course, I'd expect such an insecure person like you to cover so much up." Diana seemed to have some tea already prepped and poured herself and Lissandra a cup.

"Okay, enough. I'm here to talk to you about something, and it concerns..." Lissandra didn't finish and only sighed.

"Oh, is it about me being attacked by some Adventurer teams or something?" Diana sipped her tea and said.

"Yeah, how did you know? You can't see into Goa Village with the Formation blocking your sight!" Lissandra was a bit stunned; not even the strongest entities could look past the gate of Goa because of this.

"I have my resources" Diana contiuned, "I'm guessing you're not really here to warn me, well, you are but you want to warn me about something else." Diana already knew what she really wanted to warn her about.

"......"

"Go on, tell me." Diana sat her tea to the side and gave her undivided attention to Lissandra.

"Sigh...Once you're attacked; don't retaliate against the village, they're not the ones attacking you. In fact, most of the public is against doing something stupid as attacking you—someone who is minding her own business."

Even the Mayor was getting a headache knowing that a few squads were coming here strictly to attack the Mysterious Phoenix on Terror Mountain.

"The people, huh? You Humans are quite the treacherous things, but I think you know why." Diana frowned deeply as she looked Lissandra in the eyes.

"I know! But not all of us are like that." Lissandra stood up, "The Storm is delaying them from crossing over, so they'll probably wait until this weather dies down. In the meantime, you should call forth your allies or heal faster."

Diana didn't say anything, she just looked at Lissandra, who was trying to avoid eye contact.

"You Humans act like you own the place, other races had settled here long before you came here. Particularly the Elves, but you idiots keep bothering them and trying to enslave them. I hope you're prepared Ms. Righteous because something is coming that you humans won't be able to handle. The question is—can you guys handle it when it finally arrives, even those heroes, at least some of them; if they have a conscience or brain, will turn on you!"

"!?" Lissandra looked over at Diana with untold silence, it was telling what she was thinking. Diana downed the rest of her tea before standing up herself.

"Let me lead you out, you should come by more; minus the Wyvern. Also, stay out of my business within the forest, I know you've been snooping around here and there." Diana sneered before the scene changed around them; bring them back to the top of the volcano.

"..." Lissandra said nothing, but she had her worries after hearing Diana's words. She called her Wyvern over before flying off.

Heroes weren't stupid, some just chose to act ignorant in most cases. However, there were always a few of the bunch that wouldn't settle for it. In the past, there were 3 heroes summoned; at the time, this was the most heroes ever summoned in history until this day in age.

A Hero by the name of Raul had turned on the Sentinels Of Light after finding out their true nature. Out of the 3, 2 had found them out and turned away from them, while the other allowed himself to be manipulated.

Raul, with his strength, fame, and influence at the time; created an Alliance called the Order Of Raul. The Alliance was still around at this very moment, being a pain to the Sentinels Of Light by trying to expose them to the world and much more.

The other Hero had completely fallen, he was a hero but at the same time, he wasn't. He had turned corrupted but he was still against the Sentinels Of Light. Lissandra knew the story very well, and this worried her, what if they really did turn away from the order!?

With so many of them and their ability to grow so fast, it could only lead to Chaos & War!
