Chapter 384: Light in the darkness

After treating Medusa's shallow wounds and picking up the entity level flux orbs, the group left the east district in a hurry. If what Sam told them was the truth, skinwalkers were in control of that district and they couldn't afford an all out fight to break in the middle of the day. Mary took off to her sister's appartment without saying a word, but the long legged huntress decided to follow the Dungeon Raiders to their headquarters because she didn't feel safe in the east district anymore.

It took some convincing, but in the end Uriel let her come with them in exchange for becoming a poorly paid employee, which was the only kind of employment he could provide at the moment. It may have sounded like extorsion, because it was, but it was also a cheap price to pay for safety in the current times.
