Chapter 133: Unwanted encounter

Seraphina was really glad that Nibeia had come to visit her; she had been feeling so alone in the palace.

It was just too boring. Then she remembered the promise of the tea party. Seraphina had been looking forward to it—she really enjoyed those kinds of gatherings.

But within just a few days, the promise they made was broken. By the time Seraphina had fully recovered from her illness, she received word that Marchioness Nibeia had caught a cold herself.

The news hit Seraphina harder than she expected. She had been eagerly anticipating the tea party, the warmth, and the laughter that always came with it. Now, it seemed those plans would have to be postponed.

Worried about her friend, Seraphina immediately persuaded Raven to let her visit Marchioness Nibeia.

"What? You really want to go?" Raven asked, surprised.

"Yes, Raven. She came to visit me when I was sick, so I should go to her too," Seraphina insisted.
