Chapter 145: Sister Seraphina

The Marchioness gave Robert a gentle signal to introduce himself.

"Robert, say hello."

Before he could respond, Seraphina smiled warmly and knelt to meet him at eye level, her dress gracefully spreading out around her. "It's quite alright," she reassured the child.

"What's your name?" she asked gently, her gaze meeting his with genuine interest.

"…Robert Werner. What about you?" Robert responded, his voice barely above a whisper as he shyly shifted his weight from one foot to the other, his small hands clutching the edge of his tunic.

"What are you saying to the Duchess?" the Marchioness chided lightly, but Seraphina quickly interjected with a playful glimmer in her eyes.

"I'm called Seraphina Everwyn."

"Sister Seraphina?"

Robert repeated, his voice was sweet and innocent, bringing a radiant smile to Seraphina's face.
