Chapter 55: A Path to Calip Part I

A young man pulled out his white smartphone and dialed someone up, but nobody responded at the other end of the phone line. Tan sighed at his screen and ended the call.

“It doesn't seem she'll talk to me…” He said and connected the gaming gear to his body. He prepared everything necessary for going online before looking at his phone again and shaking his head.

“It may be easier in the game,” he said as he lay down on the bed and closed his eyes. Soon, he was back in the world of D.W.O.

He was about ten hours late for his appointment with his friend. It was because he had to deal with a lot of stuff in real life. He logged into the game and appeared to be at the Church of Travelers in the port town of Girasta. They were sent to this town from the Sea God Church. Tan realized that his friends were already at Calip.

“Why didn’t you guys wait for me?!” Tan yelled.

“We were left waiting for how long?” Nicki responded.

“Not that long…” he toned down his voice.
