Chapter 1: Awakening
<Wake.....up...…> a distant voice called to me
'Why?....' is all i could think. It is hard to think. I wish I could just sleep
<WAKE UP!!!>
My eyes flung open and I was blinded by a bright light. It takes some time for my eyes to adjust but when they finally do I see a white ceiling with some sort of half sphere giving off a blinding light.
My eyes sting just looking at it. I turn my head to the right and see a mirror built into the wall. It covered almost the whole wall except a foot from the sides.
The walls all around me are plain white with no details. The flooring is a simple pattern of grey tiles. There is a door in front of me close to the mirror.
After looking around I tried to move. PAIN that's all I feel when I try to move. It's not caused by any outside force. It's like the pain you would feel when you're sore but 100x worse.
I wanted to stop but I can't just stay here forever. I started by moving my fingers, and it wasn't as painful as before. After a minute the pain was fading and then disappeared.
Ok next, the toes. Still the same feeling but i was expecting this. After another minute I could move without pain.
When I started to move my ankles and wrists something was blocking me from moving them. I tried to strain my neck to look.
I couldn't see my ankles but my wrists were bound by a leather strap. Just as I was looking, the door opened.
A humanoid like figure that was completely covered in a suit of some sort. It was wearing a bright yellow hazmat suit reinforced with metal plates.
The head was covered in a reflective gold cover with a tube leading to a canister on his back. The plates covered his upper chest, thigh sides, shins, upper arm, and forearm.
They are made up of some dull grey colored metals. He closed the door behind him before I got a good look outside.
"Hey, you, you're finally awake" The voice behind the mask comes through muffled.
Something about him was scaring me, like I knew he was a horrible person. <Enemy> the voice from before I woke up said!
I tried to move but the pain and restraints were stopping me. "Hey now calm down" he said while making a hand gesture. I tried to escape for a couple of seconds but the restraints were too tight.
I stopped knowing I was going to get nowhere. The humanoid slowly approached and took a chair from nothing and placed it next to the table I was on.
'So they are a hero!' I think to myself as my eyes go wide.
'wait what is a hero?'
<Enemies> the voice responds
After taking a seat he turned his head and looked right into my eyes. "So who are you?" the muffled voice said. 'Who am I?' I think to myself as I break eye contact with the figure.
"I don't know" I say out loud. '
"Hmm how about a different question: What are you?" He thought aloud. 'Is this person an idiot?' "I'm human, what else would I be?" I ask him back.
The figure didn't move like he was taking a good look into my eyes. "So you haven't looked into your own eyes yet have you?" He said aloud. 'What is he talking about?'
I start turning my head to look in the mirror on the wall. The eyes that stared bask were black eyes with purple irises!
