Chapter 94: Manipulator Claws

The night came and went quietly inside the room. Then, in the first minutes of the new day, Ruri slowly awakened. She stretched, feeling the soft and warm bed she was in. Then, she opened her eyes and found herself in that elevated place, and the bloody and agonizing memories flooded her mind.

She quickly focused on her master, who was completely unconscious, showing no signs of waking up anytime soon. But, despite still being red, a new layer of skin was already subtly covering him. Seeing that, she sighed in relief. She had seen her master's recovery ability before and knew that since he got to this point, her master would eventually go back to normal.

Then, she noticed a strange gaze upon her.

Ruri turned around, and her eyes met Almin's. He was completely ensnared by earth runes. Even his mouth was sealed. He wasn't fully recovered yet, but even if he were, he wouldn't be able to easily get out of there.
