Synopsis
WPC #256 - Magic, Gold Winner
--
Jeong-Hui, a teenager with no accomplishments in life, spends his days in solitude, living alone and gaming most of the day.
That is, until a world-shaking revelation descended on Earth.
The one proclaiming to be "God" informed humanity of their failure as a species, and that Armageddon would begin.
However, as a means of giving those worthy of continuing on a chance, "God" introduced the "Armageddon Game", bestowing a special system onto every person of the world.
The system grants each player the abilities of Angels, reminiscent of an RPG as experience, stats, and level-ups are all present.
Though, as a person who lived a unfulfilling life as a lowlife and a coward, he begins his journey as the bottom-of-the-barrel start: level one.
Those who reach level twenty within the six month time period will be allowed access into "The Tower"--however, what awaits in the mysterious, heavenly tower is unknown.
Not intending to die after living a failed life, Jeong-Hui strives to reach the Tower, using his knowledge as a MMORPG player to ascend.
As an assassin-class and a martial artist class, he utilizes both the "Angel System", widely available to humanity, and another, unique system available only to himself to combat the trials in the way of his journey.

Write a reviewAs I’m writing this morning have only made through 6 chapters. I’m really trying to stick with it, but the MC seems soo bipolar that I’m having a hard time getting past it. The system tells him how to equip his class and weapons, but he chooses to pick up a brick to throw at the monster….. The story starts with him playing a game, trying to show he is a seasoned gamer, even had his loot stolen because he was too slow, and then when he defeats a monster and loot drops he asked the system what good is this loot? You just killed your first monster!! Loot is loot! Oh and then 2 months later his chatting with his system, trying to show us he is pro at this now The system calls him “master” and he asks the system to show him his status… “Yo system show me my status pronto…” Okay cool thanks for showing that he is a pro now, then the next moment he is fighting a monster, he sees the monster is getting closer but doesn’t move like his class “Assasin” Instead he decides to stand and hold out his arms and cast a shield spell… his “Mana” or energy is being drained, the system continuously asks if he should use his ability but he refuses saying his got this, he will do it on his own… But he just stands there until his Mana is depleted….didn’t even doge or try to circle it. Just remained there with his blue scarf fluttering in the wind…but luckily when his shield was dispelled die to lack of Mana a young heroin comes and saves him and the leaves. The MC is then there calling out her name like he knows her, just watch me so and so I shall prove to you that I am going to be someone. You don’t know her, she doesn’t know you, she didn’t insult you, she saved your life… it wasn’t like you had a fighting chance… you were going to commit suicide refusing to listen to your system that calls you Master… I can’t tell if he is mentally unstable or just mental…
Reveal SpoilerUkraine : "Vladimir- Kun please be gentle ". Vladimir-kun : "sorry Ukraine-chan ,I can't hold back anymore" . *squirts the entire 2nd Guards Motor Rifle Division into Kyev *
mc is pretty relatable so far, though this review is made when there are around 3-4 chapters so keep that in mind. There is some pretty heavy gore at the start, so if that's not your thing then yeah. If it is, have fun lol. I like that everybody is included in the system, it kind of gives me sao vibes.
Time of writting review: 130 chapters in. 1. Writing quality: Thus far, I havnt noticed any jarring errors. Author has a good sense of grammer, and the way he writes is very descriptive. I can truely picture whats happening in the moment when I read. 2. Story development: I feel like the story isn't moving too fast or too slow. We have time to grow attached to characters, and the state of the world. Yet the story continues forward bringing change, not growing stale. 3. Character design: Alot of the characters feel unique in their own way, whether its personality or powers. The MC is not static, he develops his personality at a good pace and grows. (unlike a certain novel I dropped where the Mc is still hyper innocent and niave 700 chapters in... yeah that got old lol). 4. Updating stability: No complaints here, so far author releases a good 1-2 chapters a day which is pretty impressive. 5: World background: I just wanna say, wow! I have read alot of novels, and can't quite recall a premise like this. I am very fond of the lore/background that has been built up, and can't wait to see the secrets that the mc unveils late in the story. (Sure there are *some* elements in the story that have been introduced in other novels, but this is a refreshing blend) Definitely a very unique system novel. I would recommend you read this, as it is criminally under rated.
very well fleshed out story building and characters. the main character goes from weak hikkikimori gamer to godlike multi class fighter. speaking of god- the god of this world declared all mankind a failure and grants them apocalypse to clean up his mess. Tossing in rejects from other worlds to help with the slaughter and maybe refine out a few jems. he gives out an angel system to provide level-ups and a class or two. Our hero throws away his antisocial behavior to team up with and make some dear friends and increase in power. only to lose them all horrificly to a group of demon worshipers who got a demons system. This finally allows him to break free of the angel system, develop his own powerful system--and actually kill people. New friends are made but God doesn't think they are challenged enough so more powerful angels are sent to kill more of them. As his power and resentment grows it looks like someday he will rise up and kill the god that turned his back on them.
Reveal SpoilerEverything about this novel is pretty great. I’d have to say it’ s a top tier novel including great grammer and everything else you could want. If this does not win 1st place, something is rigged
Everything is great so far . Plus it’s a harem, what more do I have to say. Even more the girls actually have a personality which is rare among this genre
Another masterpiece by Delz, exquisitely crafted with clear mastery of writing. The world is built with expertise and the characters are very charming.
Good story very cool I like that the story is based in an MMORPG type setting, just like the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV! With an expanded free trial which you can play through the entirety of A Realm Reborn and the award winning Heavensward expansion up to level 60 for free with no restrictions on playtime!!! I also like that the MC is a "kissless virgin", an obvious self insert of the author.
I am very very new to system stories, but if you like RPG's and world ending scenarios entangled in amazing fights and cool skills. I would certainly suggest this to those who are fond of system stories and need something new, Jeong-Hui struggles to live and thrive in his new environment and leveling his skills while working with others in the newfound devastation.
Making this as of chapter (6) -Plot is interesting, and unique for a system--it's crazy to see (SPOILERS) 50% of humanity wiped out in the beginning. -mc is easy to relate to. he's not overpowered, but not exactly weak either. -following the stats of the mc is pretty fun -some mystery set up at the start
Reveal Spoilerpretty neat story, i like the monster descriptions and how the fights are described. its different from other systems (so far) and the mc being assassin is interesting [img=recommend]
Reveal SpoilerGood read, the pacing is concise, the action is easy to follow, and the MC is an engaging character you want to follow. If you like systems and MMORPG stories, I'm sure you'll like this one. Keep up with the chapters, author!
not many chapters out yet but it's a nice change of pace from other system stories. it also gets into the action parts really past which I like
What just happened? I was fully invested in the story and the characters journey. I loved the bleak, yet hopeful atmosphere of it. Along with the willingness to go to dark places exploring loss and despair in the face of overwhelming odds. Then BOOM the shifts from well paced to faster than light. All the build up, set up, pacing, character building etc. All of it thrown to the way side to finish the novel in like 10 chapters. With so much looked over and unexplored. Basically all three levels of The Tower are skipped over (especially the 2nd that isn't even mentioned) after so much build up and struggle getting there. Then the set up Nemesis of the first part of the novel (basically set up to be a reoccurring obstacle) disappears never mentioned. Did the MC get revenge? IDK! Same with the GOETIA System users. All for an ending that could've been great if we saw the Journey to that point. However we got to experience the first quarter then got snap shots of the rest. If I was to rate this up to chapter 247 everything would have been three stars or above, that rush to the end though soured the whole experience.
Reveal SpoilerGreat story so far, only complaint is main characters perspective is written as “he” and it gets very confusing in fights and conversations to understand who is doing/saying what. As of chapter 86 into it
Just read this beauty and I have to admit it’s prett frickin good. I also checked out his othe book and man it’s the best thing in the app right now
The cover is really good. The writing quality is also directly on point. The mc seemed so relatable, man. Life's actually boring. When the God mentioned being failure, I was like what if something like this happens with me one day? It was like a umm, lesson I would say.
Author DelzGB
When I saw Delz released a new novel, I already knew what to expect. Starting off, the pacing is perfect(not to slow or not to fast, it is right in the middle), and the grammar is A1. Reading novels with choppy grammar is horrible, and really ruins the reading process( for me at least), so reading a novel with great grammar is super refreshing. The characters, systems/powers, and enemies are very engaging early on. When you finish reading this, I recom mend you readers to check out Garden of the Abyss, another one of Delz’s novels. Be warned readers, only read Gareden of the Abyss if you enjoy peak fiction;). All in all I’m ready to see the the future of AOANN!
