Chapter 128: Surrounded at all sides

It had been quite a while since Luck was last at the construction site, his training had swallowed most of his time after school and even when he had little time he was far too exhausted to work.

The building appeared to be coming out nicely, part of it was now completely coated in psyiament and the other areas were also in the process.

Still, the building was far from being complete.

Layla stared up at the tall structure for sometime.

"You used to work here?"

"Not 'used to', I still work here."

"Hmmm."

That was all she said before they continued to walk deeper into the site. As they did, Luck was greeted by a familiar sight. It seemed their break was just ending because a few workers were seated in front of the large table while others were getting up to leave having finished their food.
