As soon as Vice-chancellor Vance left the podium, a familiar figure took his place. Kyoji recognized her instantly; it was Miss Anna. With a warm smile directed at the expectant crowd, she began announcing names from the list in her hand.

One by one, students nervously approached the strange mechanism as their names were called. Each student, after drawing a ball from the device, returned to their seat, a mixture of anticipation and anxiety swirling within them. The ball held the key to their team assignment, a factor that could determine their fate in the trials to come.

The ideal team composition was no secret. A balanced group consisted of four distinct roles: attackers (both close-combat and ranged specialists), a sturdy tank to absorb damage, a healer to mend wounds, and a nimble scout for reconnaissance. Such a team would possess well-rounded capabilities, ready to face any challenge.
