Where am I?

Hello my name is Ren and I think I'm about to die. You see I was just walking down the road when boom, a truck hit me. Currently I'm just laying on the groumd dieing. Why isn't any one callimg the police? They would help, right?

"That's not fair, he was in this condition when we got here, it's not my fault. Plus what he reincarnates as a demon lord or something like that. Only the elite units have the power for that."

"Ok, ok. Just hurry up and fix him before chief decides to kill us."

Where am I? One second I'm on the road, about to die. And now I'm in a pure white room with only a bed and a few vital monitors. I would think I was dead but those monitors suggest otherwise.

There were no doors in the room. It felt like I was being kept prisoner.

After about 10 minutes, a portion of the wall about the size of a door was outlined with a blue glow. Then, out of nowhere, the section disappeared revealing an interesting boy. He was skiny and quite short, but that was not the interesting part about him. Floating around him were 8 spheres of water that slowly circled around him. It was like magic, but magic doesn't exist. I'm not dumb, right?

I'm 17 and not once in my life have I ever seen such a convincing magic trick. I don't get it though, why would this guy save me just so they could show me a magic trick? It feels odd, what if it actually is real magic? But that would go against what I've been told my entire life.

"Hello, my name is West. Welcome to the Harem Prevention HQ. We want you a become a fighter in our organization." The boy said. This is confusing... Isn't a harem a thing from anime, manga, and light novels?

"Can you give me a bit more information first?" I asked.

"I'm sorry, we cannot give you any more details untill you join the organization. I would like to remind you that we just saved your life in secret. You will not be able to go back to your old life. Everyone you knew thinks you're dead." Why does he keep on saying 'we'? Outside to the hole in the wall is just a hall and I haven't seen anyone pass by here. Anyway...

I suppose if what he's sayong is true then it wouldn't hurt to join. I can't go back to my old life and I'm very interested in this place. I've always sought out knowledge. Plus judging from their name, this organization is trying to stop people that cheat. As someone who has been cheated on, I can get behind that. I've made my decision, "Alright, I'll join. I'm interested in what you people are about."

The boy smiled, then took out a piece of paper with weird symbols and said, "Before we give you any information, put your hand on this peice of piece of paper and repeat after me."

"Ok"

"I swear by the name of our founder, Katie."

"That I will do all in my power to stop harems and never give away the secrets of the organization I work under."

"Perfect! Ok, now I will bring you to the chief of this branch. She will fill you in." He said. I still want answers. I guess this so-called chief is the best way to get them.

He lead me up a seemingly infinite number of stairs. Then had to disable 23 different traps, I counted. When we finally got to the surface, we had to be patted down before we entered the main building. I seems like I was in some prison under the main building.

Once we entered the main building, we were greeted by a woman in a blue suit. She quickly took us to the top floor of the building then left.

"Is this entire floor the chief's office?" I asked. seeing only one office on the entire floor.

"No this is also were we train because she likes to keep track of our progress." He replied.

We quickly made our way to her office were West said he should go back to his room.

"Hello Ren. Welcome to your new life." She greeted me. "I'm sure you have a lot of questions, so just wait until I give you all the information before you start asking questions."

"Ok."

"Before I say this, forget about everything you ever thought about reality. After all this is a new life for you. Ok, three important things right off the bat. Magic is real, all fictional worlds are real, and cheating on a partner creates hatred and, as such, is a sin." She said.

"Yes ma'am. What is your name again?"

"My name is Abby, and I said save the questions untill after I give the information."

"Ok, sorry." Jeez

"Anyway, where was I? Ah, yes I think I'll start with magic. Magic uses a force called Universal Energy. We use magic to combat the power that isseki protagonists gain during their time in their new world. Oh yeah, isseki protagonists are our main enemy. Like I said all fictional worlds are real, including anime and novels.

Our job is to kill or detain anyone who has a harem. To do this we use a space-time magician to teleport us to the world they are in and then capture them. Tomorrow you will get your magic affinity test done so you can start training. Once you become strong enough, you can take on a mission. For now go to your room and rest, I'm sure you've had a long confusing day.

A man entered the room behind be and motioned for me to follow him. He lead me to a room on the 8th floor of the 62 floor building, then told me to put my hand on th pad next to the door. When I did, the door opened.

It was a big room, about 30ft by 40ft. I layed down on the bed and then say a remote on the nightstand beside me. I picked it up and turned the tv, then turned it to the news.

"17 year old, Ren Smith, died today in a car accident. His body could not be found but there is large amounts of blood on the ground that match his dna. Officials say that even if he was saved, he would have died from bloodloss." I quickly turned off the tv.

I guess there's no going back. This is my new life.
