Chapter 2: Reijis awakening part 1
Reijis eyes slowly open, as he wonders how he is still alive. He tries to stand but can't, as his legs seem not to work. He looks around for something as he screams out in agony. He feels like he hasn't eaten in weeks.reiji seems to be in a cave, but just a small one. Reijii crawls around using his arms as he suddenly sees some light, he is frantic starving, and hurt suddenly he passes out just as he gets to the entrance of the cave. Reiji slowly drifts off thinking he's going to die for real. He hears a soft voice as he fades.
[???] Hey are you alright stay with me we will get you healed, and something to eat. Reiji fades out he hears fighting and a beastial roar.
[reiji] well they get their wish im going to be just another pile of shit I guess.
He awakens comfortable, as the sound of a fire crackles nearby. He is now wearing new clothes and can hear a ruckus nearby. reiji tries to stand, and surprisingly he can he looks at himself feeling around his body.
[Reijis] shit what the fuck why am I. what the fuck reiji exclaims, as a sweet voice could be heard nearby
"you are awake?" The women walks over and sits by reiji feeling his head. Why does she seem so tall reiji thinks to himself suddenly his scalp itches as he reaches up he feels that his hair is longer looking down at his body although he has muscles. His body seems to be that of a smaller person. reiji screams startling the whole group and the tall woman near him who he has yet to look at him. the tall woman hugs reiji and says it's okay its okay your safe now why is such a little kid in dragons heart?
Reiji looks at her with a quizzical look as he speaks. He realizes his usually deep voice is gone and looks sad.
"whats dragons heart? are you a cosplayer?" The woman looks at him quizzically
" whats a cosplayer?" she stands up ordering everyone to give their names.
She starts the naming with holding her hand over he chest
" I am Miya, and where you are is dragons heart"
"I do not know how you got here but, a man butts in. My name is Shin, and him over there he's Zack."
he says pointing to the other man. Reiji looks over them surprisingly and thinks.I will just have to act like i know what they are talking about. reiji looks at Miya and miya notices his gaze.
[ miya ] well let's get down to business why we're you in the sabers den, and how did u get here?
reiji ponders for a second and says "I just woke up here. I do not know where I am.
miya holds her mouth and starts to cry. you....you're a lost one?
Miya hugs reiji who still hasn't seen his new face or body. I'm sorry little one I may be only a little older but I'm an elf.
she shows her ears and reijis eyes widen as miya continues.
We have a village near here, and I think it would be best if u came with us. humans aren't usually welcome in dragons heart, but we will make an exception since you are a lost one suddenly Zack yells...
Hey you can't princ....that's all he got out before Miya stared daggers at the elf warrior, he shivered and said.
.a..alright I get it. Zack picks up reiji and they all start walking to the village. Reiji is unsure what's going on as his stomach rumbles in Zack ear. Zack laughs and says well it seems we have a hungry one huh?
[Miya] Zack it isnt funny he probably hasn't eaten for awhile lost children usually require a lot of food as their energy is easily depleted of course he could just drink a potion if he had the money, but based on his clothes I'd say he used to be a commoner.
As they reach the village 2 full plated guards with spears stand at the gate. A mountain of beasts are sitting nearby bloody, and beaten. The guards bow
"welcome back miss Miya on leave from the academy?
Miya smiles and says yes is father around?
[ guard 1] no he's not he's attending the council meeting.
[guard 2] would you like us to fetch him for you young miss?
[ Miya] No need we will use the spare house. We found a lost one in the forest send a message to tell my father. he will be staying in the spare house.
both guards salute and pull out a parchment from their bags. Reiji watches in awe, and astonishment as it dissapears. The guard tosses it in the air and the papers burns into nothingness.
[ guard 2] The message has been sent young miss.
[Miya] Good now open up I don't want to be caught in a beast attack out here. The guards open the gate and miya looks at reiji
[Miya] Welcome lost one to dragons heart a somewhat large village in the outskirts of our kingdom.
