Chapter 20: Three Years Later
Age 756, May 6.
Three years have passed since King Piccolo was defeated and the world was currently at peace.
However, that doesn't mean that martial artists around the world like Goku, Tien and others are standing still and lazing around.
All of them are working hard and trying their best just for a moment like this where they can reach the top.
"The world martial art tournament." A dark-haired man said as he arrived at the entrance of the place where the tournament was being held.
He was around 5 foot 9 inches tall and had unique spiky black hair. He was wearing a white martial arts gi with a black undershirt, two black waistbands, a black belt and navy colour boots with a white outline. He also has a tail popping out of his pants. That was wrapped around his black belt.
It was raining but the man didn't seem to care.
"Hey. Long time no see." He turned his back as he heard a calm but familiar voice.
"It's you." He replied as he looked at the three eye person, Tien Shinhan.
Tein Shinhan was accompanied by chaiotzu and two other unfamiliar faces.
One was wearing a hat that said Kame on it and is quite short compared to himself while the other was a tall black hair man with a long tied-up ponytail that have a few scars on his face. One over his eye and the other near his chin.
"You grew so much in three years. I almost didn't recognize you if you didn't have that hair." Tien said to the man.
It was Daikon. Commonly known as Dai.
"Tien you are right. He looked just exactly like Goku." the man with the kame hat said to Tien.
His name was Krillin and he was a bald martial artist who trained alongside goku in his youth.
"How do you know that he is not Goku?" The scarred man asked Tien. His name was Yamcha. The boyfriend of Bulma and a martial artist that also have the same master as Goku and Krillin and one of his friends.
"Well, first I don't think Goku would be wearing anything other than his orange Gi," Tien replied.
"You become stronger, but still not as strong as me," Dai said to Tien in an arrogant tone as he cut off Tien's speech with the scarred man.
But Tien was not offended as he knew Dai have some sort of pride that pushes him to become stronger just like him.
It's just that Tien is better at hiding his confidence than Dai who is not humble enough to keep it to himself.
"Cocky guy," Yamcha said. He didn't know Dai and he also didn't like getting shown off either.
Krillin was not offended as he realized that the man that looked exactly like Goku is not a simple person.
However, he let out a strange speech as he looked at Dai's appearance.
"There is no way that Goku is going to be taller than me right?" He said to himself.
The atmosphere is tense.
"Hey, guys. Over here?" Then they heard the voice of a woman.
"Yamcha." A loud squeaky voice was also heard.
"Hey, there you are." Then Dai heard a voice which was similar to his own.
"That voice?" Dai said as he looked in the direction where the voices comes from.
It was a man who looked the same as him. Son Goku.
Who was accompanied by a tortoise-coloured hair woman and a flying blue cat?
"Goku!!!" Krillin said as he runs towards Goku to hug him.
"Long time no see," Yamcha said to Goku.
Tien also walked towards Goku to greet him.
Dai just observed Goku. Who is much stronger than he could have imagined. However, he knew that Goku was still hiding his power and was starting to get a bit excited.
But Dai's excitement was relatively tame compared to the excitement that he felt before as Dai have developed a skill that he believes would help him win the tournament easily if he decided to use it.
Goku also looked at Dai as just like him he also sensed Dai's power.
He smiled as he and Dai's eyes meet. It seems like he was also hoping for a great match in the tournament.
"Who is he?" the tortoise hair girl said as she pointed at Dai.
"Goku's brother? Maybe." The old man in a suit said as he grabbed the bottom part of the tortoise girl.
"Hey. I told you not to do that." She said as he hit the old man.
Her name was Bulma. And the old man was Master Roshi.
Both of them were accompanied by Launch, a blue hair girl that stayed at Master Roshi's house as a caretaker, Oolong the humanoid Pig and Paur the blue flying cat.
"Does Goku even have a brother? Well, a beautiful sister might be good." Oolong said as he started to imagine a naked short hair tomboy girl with a tail like Goku who was covered in whipped cream.
"Pervert," Paur said to Oolong.
"That what's guys like you think all the time," Bulma said to Oolong.
"Like you are the one to say," Oolong replied to Bulma.
