The reason Leo said this was that he was quite concerned about what kind of family Lily was in, and why every time he accidentally met Lily in the neighborhood, she always looked sad. 

All this made Leo very concerned; he didn't want this lively and cheerful little girl to live such a sad life in reality. 

"No way!" Lily shouted directly, her tone not allowing any room for negotiation.
