Chapter 677: Sebastian

Sebastian's response, in truth, left the Lord of Cast somewhat despondent. Yet, after surveying the surrounding conditions, he regained some composure. 

"I believe we can still continue our defense," he said, a hint of determination in his tone. 

"As long as we coordinate closely, the Blackstone Empire's offensive might not be successful. 

The elven warriors you've brought are capable of ranged attacks, right? Most of them are archers, so positioning them on the eastern wall would be ideal. 

There, they can prevent the Blackstone Empire's Climbers from scaling the wall."

The Lord of Cast, now speaking in a more collaborative tone with Sebastian, was clearly driven by the dire situation of Cast. 

Should Sebastian choose to leave due to his manner of speech, Cast would stand no chance in mounting a defense.

Sebastian didn't immediately agree but first took a moment to assess the surroundings.
