Once the sorting hat was placed on Draco's head, he soon heard the hats voice in his mind "Difficult. Very difficult." the hat said to him "Courageous, Clever, Ambitious, and Kind, a very good balance or each."
'Not Slytherin' Draco repeated in his thoughts.
"Not Slytherin, eh? Are you sure?" the hat asked in his head "You could be great, you know, and Slytherin could help you on the way to greatness."
'Not Slytherin.' Draco kept repeating in his mind.
------
Draco's sorting went on and on, as the hat stalled out and soon enough twenty minutes had nearly passed before the Hat finally called out "Gryffindor!"
The two tables most surprised by this result were the Slytherin and Gryffindor tables, as they were both certain that Draco would be in Slytherin since his entire family was in that house, and never would they have guessed he'd be in Gryffindor. The first to applaud him, though, were Fred and George, after which the rest of the Gryffindor table overcame their shock and did the same.
Draco headed over to them and greeted everyone.
"Never seen a sorting take that long before." George commented to Draco.
"I don't know if there has ever been a four-way hat stall before." Draco admitted.
Draco then turned his attention to watch the rest of the sorting ceremony.

Holly's sorting into Gryffindor came instantly. The hat hadn't even touched her head before calling out 'Gryffindor!' Everyone at the Gryffindor table enthusiastically welcomed her, and she went straight over to sit with Draco, and seemed happy that they had ended up in the same House as him.

Ronald Weasley...Slytherin
------
This was the second time that the Gryffindor and Slytherin Table's were both caught by surprise. Just like they had assumed that Draco, since he was a Malfoy, would be in Slytherin, they assumed that Ron, as a Weasley, would be in Gryffindor.
Draco, however, was not as surprised. He knew how ambitious Ron had grown, trying to win over Holly whenever they were over at the Burrow, though Holly had remained oblivious to it as she only had a romantic interest in himself.
Ron's jealousy and ambition had apparently caused him to be sorted into Slytherin House. Draco was actually somewhat relieved, since he wouldn't have to deal with seeing Ron every day while at Hogwarts, and he and Holly could have Ron-free time in the Gryffindor Dormatory at least.

After the last individual was sorted, the feast was finally allowed to begin, relieving a lot of students since the sorting had taken fat longer then usual, especially for Draco.. In the end, Draco himself had broken his hat stall by asking to be sorted into Gryffindor, otherwise who knows how long the hat would have taken

"Gryffindors, follow me please, keep up, thank you." Percy said while leading the Gryffindor first years to their dormitory "This is the most direct path to the dormitory. Oh, and keep an eye on the staircases. They like to change. Keep up please, and follow me. Quickly now, come on. Come on."
Draco was amused, watching some people reacting to the various moving paintings as they followed Percy. Draco took the opportunity to approach Noelle as they walked.
"Do you need something?" Noelle asked him, immediately suspicious.
"I couldn't help but notice your wand at the feast. Did you inherit it?" Draco asked her.
"Yes, it belonged to my father." Noelle admitted.
"I was afraid of that." Draco sighed "I get that it is a family heirloom, so by all means keep it and protect it, but wands have personalities of their own which some witches and wizards underestimate. Some wands are really picky about who they will let use them. Your compatibility with your wand is very low, so no matter how good you get, it will always resist your commands. How about we make you a new wand tomorrow morning?"
Noelle frowned when Draco said that "But..."
"Ollivander did say that the wand chooses the witch or wizard." Holly recalled "The first few wands I tried I couldn't use at all."
Hearing Holly mention that after overhearing Draco talking to Noelle made her calm down "You can make wands?"
Draco nodded "I can, I made my own wand as well. If you work wish, I can make a wand which will be 100 percent loyal to you. I brought planty of materials with me"
Noelle still wanted to lash out and defend her fathers important wand, but decided to at least give Draco's idea a chance "Very well." she agreed.
Parvati and Lavender approached Draco while he was talking to Noelle, and both girls seemed to be slightly blushing when they did. "Draco, I read about you in the Daily Prophet before. You were really cool." Parvati complimented him, while Lavender nodded in agreement.
"Are you really only eleven years old like us?" Lavender asked him "You're so mature and handsome."
"Lucky genetics I guess." Draco insisted "Yes, I am eleven years old." he knew that the real reason he matured so young was due to his high vitality stat, but he could not tell others that "It's a pleasure to meet both of you. Lavender and Parvati, right?"
"You know our names?" Parvati asked happily.
"Well, Professor McGonagall did say them during the sorting ceremony, so it's not that big of a deal." Draco pointed out to them "Why wouldn't I try to memorize the names of the cute girls? It seems like common sense to me." he looked at Noelle "I'll prepare everything tonight and we can find the right core that will suit you best, then I'll get up early and make that wand for you." he informed her "Can you stay up about a half hour more so that I can get it all unpacked?" he asked.
------
In truth, since he carried most of his luggage to school in his inventory, Draco did not need a full half hour to set up. Five minutes was sufficient, but he did not want to make Noelle feel rushed or ask questions about him being too prepared, so he took his time.
A half hour after settling into his room, there was a knock at it. Terry, Seamus, Oliver and Dean all looked towards the door, while Draco jogged over and opened it. finding Holly and Noelle "Please, come in" he invited then and led them over to his bed where a wide assortment of wand woods and cores were laid out "Starting with woods, my intuition tells me that Chestnut or Rowan will suit you best, but lets test all of them just to make certain"
Draco taught her how to channel energy through woods and to sense her compatibility with each of them. As he guessed, she was highly compatible with Rowan and Chestnut, but also with Cherry. The Yew wood, like Noelle's father's wand, had the least compatibility of all the wand woods.
Likewise, after examining Noelle's fathers wand, Draco found that it's core was a dragon heartstring, and unsurprisingly Noelle's compatibility with dragon heartstring was very low. When they tested her compatibility with cores, she found her highest compatibility seemed to be with unicorn tail hairs, though he found one of Olympia's tail feathers that accepted her. She also had really high compatibility with Thunderbird tail feathers, though not as high as the other two.
With their analysis done, Draco thanked Noelle for her patience and said he would get the wand to her by the next day, and got a hug from Holly before the two girls headed back to their room for the night.
Draco subsequently put away the materials he did not need and started working on the wand. Thanks to his high vitality stat, he was okay to stay up all night when he needed too, though he was not going to tell Noelle that.
Taking out his own wand, which had a philosopher's stone on it, he used it's power to take the three blocks of wood which were compatible with Noelle, and fused them together into one wood, and then he started working on the wand, and for the core he made it a two core wand that used a Thunderbird tail feather and Olympia's tail feather. While the Thunderbird feather had a slightly lower comparability with Noelle then the Unicorn tail hair did, it's compatibility with Olympia's tail feather was much greater.
By the time morning came, Draco had made a beautifully-designed wand, 13 and a half inches long, and rigid. Yes, rigid wands were the most difficult to master, but were also the most powerful once fully mastered, and compared to the wand she had been using, Draco was confident that this would be a walk in the park for Noelle.
