* Jesus Feeds the 4,000
1. Compare the feeding of the 4,000 with the feeding of the 5,000:
a. What can we say about Jesus disciple in these 2 situation?
Answer: The disciples saw 7 loaves of bread and two fishes. So they tell Jesus about it. Jesus blessed the 7 loaves of bread and two fish and they feed the 4000 people.
b. What can we learn from them?
Answer: we should not loose faith.
* Yeast of the Pharisees and the Sadducees
1. Verse 16:6, 11-12 says "Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and the Sadducees."
a. What does the yeast symbolizes?
Answer: The yeast symbolizes the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
b. Why do you think Jesus used yeast as an example?
Answer: The bread symbolizes the teachings that feeds more than 4000 people.
c. Why do think Jesus compare the Kingdom of Heaven to yeast?
Answer: I think Jesus compare the Kingdom of Heaven to yeast because it demonstrate the Kingdom of Heaven
