Chapter 13: Chapter 13: Master, Where Did You Go?

Ye Hao took a deep breath, sat on the ground cross-legged, and let go of his Death Spider Emperor martial spirit. A horrifying pressure surged, scattering weak spirit beasts in all directions as a huge spider silhouette appeared behind him.

A yellow hundred-year spirit ring drifted upward above the already-dead Death Magic Spider. Drawn by Ye Hao's spirit power, glowing like brilliant gold under the night sky.

Ye Hao felt a surge of heat throughout his body, blazing energy rushing through him. Causing his internal organs to ache and his body to tremble slightly.

With overwhelming power, the yellow spirit ring was firmly secured beneath Ye Hao's feet. At that moment, it felt as if something within him had "cracked," breaking the shackles that bound him, and his spirit power transformed into a warm flow.

It swept through his body, turning him into a miniature furnace, while the Death Spider Emperor was subtly changing. It's scarlet eyes grew more ferocious and menacing, as though a single look at an adversary would condemn them to eternal damnation.

Within a ten-meter radius of Ye Hao, flowers and plants began to wither, trees decayed, and the earth became desolate. The air was filled with an unpleasant stench.

Even the corpse of the dead Death Magic Spider turned into a pool of dark green liquid. Ye Hao's first spirit ring brought about significant changes, and the toxins of the Death Spider Emperor intensified.

After a while, Ye Hao suddenly opened his eyes wide. The eight sharp black spider spears behind him spread out instantly, and his chest was covered in black armor. His face was twisted in a fierce expression, and his crimson eyes glinted coldly in the dim light. Four tiny eyes whirled wildly below, enabling him to detect even the smallest changes in his surroundings. He could not help but notice the wind rustling the leaves and trees.

Ye Hao was overjoyed. Excited, he instantly reverted to his former form and withdrew the Death Spider Emperor.

Looking around at the desolation and decay surrounding him, Ye Hao couldn't help but marvel. The Death Spider Emperor was indeed a top-tier beast martial spirit. He couldn't help but wonder what it would be like when he became a Title Douluo.

Before that, however, Ye Hao still had much work to do. Although he had obtained his first spirit ring and his spirit power had broken through level ten, he estimated his current spirit power to be around level twelve. Despite this, he still needed to plan for the future.

The age of this Death Magic Spider was about four hundred years, thankfully not exceeding the highest limit for a first spirit ring.

After brushing off the dust from his clothes, Ye Hao hurried back to the campsite. He slipped silently closer to the camping area and saw Tang San sitting quietly in meditation. He observed a faint purple aura surrounding Tang San, something others couldn't detect.

Now. Ye Hao experienced a sharp increase in concentration and mental strength after obtaining his first soul ring.

Mysterious Heaven Skill?

The technique from the Tang Sect that Tang San belonged to in his previous life was the only explanation.

Ye Hao returned without saying a word and immediately lay down on the blanket to rest. After absorbing the spirit ring, he was completely worn out and thought a good night's sleep was in order.

It was the Soul Hunting Forest, where spirit beasts lived. It was full of spirit beasts, but it was not as expansive as the Star Dou Great Forest. There was no way of knowing how many threats were hiding in the grass at the time.

Like that Death Magic Spider, soundly sleeping before getting caught in a downpour.

Ye Hao had ultimately profited from it, and the Death Spider Emperor had indirectly benefited as well. Your soul will undoubtedly find tranquility.

Death Magic Spider: (☞゚ヮ゚)☞

Tang San opened his eyes slowly a short while after Ye Hao had laid down. He felt conflicted as he gazed at Ye Hao, who was half asleep.

He had picked up on the earlier disturbance. He was still Tang San, but they were far away.

Had Ye Hao acquired a soul ring? His aura was more powerful than before.

Remembering the previous remarks made by the Master, Tang San was intrigued. What secret did Ye Hao harbor? Even the teacher gave him extra consideration and advised him to become friends with him instead of making enemies.

Tang San took his teacher's advice to heart even though he did not fully comprehend it. After all, his teacher had unintentionally become his sole emotional support system in this world since his father left him.

Contemplating becoming friends with Ye Hao?

Tang San considered it for a moment, then decided it might be worth a shot. What if their personalities were compatible? Apart from his teacher, Tang San felt completely alone after leaving Holy Soul Village and being separated from his father. Encountering "friend" wasn't easy.

The next morning. Tang San was up already, cleaning himself up as the sunlight poured into the forest.

Conversely, Ye Hao appeared sleepy. He had been having trouble sleeping for the past few days, and he was particularly restless last night. It was definitely not a good idea to sleep in the wilderness.

Unbeknownst to him, Ye Hao had been on this planet for four days already. No day had been quiet; even his nightly sleep had been erratic.

"Let's set off again," the Master urged, seeing it was about time to continue their pursuit of spirit beasts.

Tang San still has not gotten his soul ring. Up until now, most of the creatures they had come across in the vast Soul Hunting Forest had been spirit beasts that were either ten years old or just shy of being hundred years old. There was still no spirit beast of a hundred years suitable for Tang San.

Unhurried, Ye Hao followed the master and disciple as they continued to walk through the forest. To be honest, he probably would have left by now if he had not been short on cash. Who would want to continue to follow them? Ye Hao had a suspicion that today would be fruitless in the absence of that Mandala Snake, which belonged to Tang San, and that he might have to make it through another night.

Ye Hao, feeling depressed, picked up a stone from the side of the road and tossed it into the air.

The stone flew in an arc and landed with a "plop," seemingly hitting something.

Ye Hao ignored it and carried on moving.

"Rustle rustle rustle…"

A dark green snakehead suddenly appeared from the grass close by, its tongue flicking in and out as its ruby-like eyes stared at the three of them.

Ye Hao saw that the snake's head had a bulge.

With a sinking heart, he gestured rapidly to Tang San and the Master. The big snake nodded to Ye Hao, the good person, and then twisted its long body to attack the two people in front of it.

In a hurry, Tang San and the Master dodged sharply.

Startled. Master exclaimed, "That is a Mandala Snake! This spirit beast resembles a poisonous snake and has strong toxins that can cause paralysis. "How could it show up here?"

Tang San's eyes lit up, and he said, "Mandala Snake? Teacher, how about this spirit beast?"

"Hmm."

With a confident nod, the Master stated, "This spirit beast is very suitable for you, based on my—"

The Mandala Snake suddenly opened its enormous mouth and bit down on the Master before he could finish, swallowing him whole and even belching in satisfaction.
