Chapter 7- A fun time.
"Are you lost?" Long Yuan asked curious about the girl who was staring at him intently after telling him her name.
Na'er shook her head lightly which indicated that she did not know whether she was lost or not.
"Where are you from? Do you know which way to take to get to your place?"Long Yuan tried asking again.
Na'er shook her head again. She looked like she was trying to think hard about the matter but could not remember anything.
"Huh? Where are your parents then..?" Long Yuan asked while sighing. Even though a lot was going through his mind at that point he wanted to help this girl to find her way back because they both had big round eyes.
"I don't know.." Na'er told him this time she was looking a bit tense.
Long Yuan noticed that he was bothering her with his questions and decided to stop talking for a moment. They both stared at the sky after sitting down on the chairs. It was raining currently and they could not go anywhere. They were both stuck in each other's company. Both of them did not talk for a while.
Though it soon stopped raining which came as a surprise to Long Yuan. It was raining hard previously and he thought it would go on for at least 30 minutes or so. He was kind of glad though.
"Ah! I forgot to introduce myself to you. Was that a bit rude? Anyway, My name is Long Yuan and I am 6 years old." He turned to the girl with short silver hair and helped her up from her seat.
"Mm.." Na'er gave a short reply to his introduction and accepted his hand which helped her up.
"Gu Gu '' A sound disturbed their interaction and Long yuan noticed that it was from Na'er's tummy.
"Are you hungry? If you want, I can get you something to eat." Long Yuan told Na'er, As he realized that the sound came from Na'er stomach.
Na'er refused to look Long Yuan in his eyes as she held her stomach. He noticed that she was slightly blushing too.
Seeing her hesitate like that made Long Yuan smile slightly. He held her hand and led her outside the park. They walked through the streets looking for stalls. Long Yuan did not want to return to TianGong yet. He wanted to spend a bit more time with this cute little girl with eyes as big as his.
"Aha! Here is one." Long Yuan said, smiling brightly while pointing to a stall that stood a short distance from them. Long Yuan closed the distance still holding onto Na'er's hand.
"What do you have here? two cute kids out together. This sure is a rare sight." Long Yuan heard an old man who was at the stall and looked up to face the man. He noticed that the old man was smiling brightly at them and Long yuan also smiled back in response while Na'er was still blushing.
The old man was selling meat buns and he currently had no customers because the streets were practically vacant which was not unusual considering the fact that it had just rained.
"I would like to have all the meat buns you have with you right now!" Long Yuan told the old man.
"Hmm, Young man this is something you have to buy with money and also I believe it would be a bit hard to eat all these by yourselves don't you think so too?" The old man told Long Yuan while smiling lightly, seemingly amused by the kid's words. He noticed that Long yuan was wearing good clothes but still he was only a kid.
Long Yuan smirked while putting his hands into his pockets he fetched his wallet which his father gave him while he remembered his father's words-
"Yuan'er you must always remember that it is always essential that you carry with you some money. Money helps out in a lot of situations and now that you are a young man who is soon going to pursue his dreams you must always keep these words of your father in mind." Lin Tian said to his son while gifting him a purse filled with money that his son could use. Long Yuan could feel his father exuding a businessman aura.
Long Yuan took out the money that his father had given him out of his wallet. He had a smug expression on his face. The old man looked at the antics of this young man and he was clearly very entertained by how this young man was acting.
"Well, then that's a lot of money you have there. Eat up first, I can see that the young girl over there is also hungry." The old man was a bit taken away by all the money the young lad was showing him and realized that this kid was a rich young master.
Long yuan smiled at the old man's words and accepted his proposal. They were served half a dozen meat buns on a paper plate. The meat buns looked delicious to both of them and they both had their mouths watering. It was noon and they were kind of hungry, especially Na'er. They both started eating the meat buns.
The old man at the stand was blown away once more. The kids were eating these meat buns at a very fast pace. He wondered where all of the buns went as he stared at the little ones standing before him. He also was constantly serving them a new plate of buns each time with a little more buns.
After the old man was all out of buns, Long Yuan heard Na'er burping. She seemed to have been satisfied with what she ate and she patted her stomach. Long Yuan himself was content with what he had. Though they left the old man with his mouth wide open after they finished all that he had in store for the day.
"That was a good meal was it not?" Long Yuan asked Na'er while showing a silly smile he was happy to see that someone else here who looked his age could eat as much as he could.
"En." Na'er replied while showing a bright smile on her face which could captivate anyone who saw it.
Long Yuan was taken aback, this was the first time he saw her smile and he thought to himself that she looked really pretty and started to blush slightly. He paid the old man the money his father had given him. The old man was taken aback again by the amount of money he had received and just when he was going to tell the kid that he did not have change he noticed that the young lad had already left with the young girl and was left shocked with the amount of money he had gotten as a tip. He had a strong feeling that this would be the last time in a while that he gets surprised to this extent.

Chapter 8 - She Left?
"Ahahaaha" A sound of laughter broke in the streets and at the center two kids could be seen looking at each other and smiling.
After having a meal that had filled their stomachs to the brim, both of them left after Long Yuan paid for their meal. They returned to the park where they first met. This time they were a lot more comfortable with each other.
"Shall we ride the swings?" Long Yuan asked Na'er with a curious look in his eyes.
"Mm.." Na'er replied while showing a bright smile on her face. For some reason, she felt comfortable being with Long Yuan. And felt that she could open up to him even though they only met a while ago.
Long Yuan then escorted Na'er to the swings and began pushing her gently so that the swing would go forward. On seeing Na'er smiling brightly he felt a sensation of his heart being filled each time he saw Na'er's bright smile and wanted to make her smile more brightly in the future as well.
"Oh Na'er now that I think about it how old are you?" Long Yuan asked Na'er while he was still pushing her to make her swing ride enjoyable.
"5 and a half" Na'er replied after thinking about it for a while. It seemed that she could not remember things properly and had difficulty remembering even stuff like how old she was or where she came from.
"I'm 6 years old. So you should call me brother yuan from now on." Long Yuan told Na'er with a smug expression on his face.
"Hmph." Na'er replied to what he said with a pout which made Long Yuan think in his mind again that she is cute even when she is angry.
Something struck his mind and he suddenly stopped pushing the swing and made it stop he looked into Na'er eyes and asked her
"Do you know where you came from?"
"No.." Na'er replied.
"Do you remember anything about who your parents are, what they do, or something like that?" Long Yuan tried again.
"No…" Na'er replied to his question again.
"So do you want to come with me to my home?" Long Yuan asked her after he thought about it for a while he was sure that his father could find Na'er's mother given that he is a businessman and also they could contact the proper authorities. Moreover, Long Yuan did not want to go their separate ways yet and wanted to keep Na'er near him and look after her.
"En." Na'er replied while looking up to face Long Yuan and smiled brightly.
"Then let's go now! I'll introduce you to my father!" Long Yuan told Na'er enthusiastically and grabbed Na'ers hand making her get up and they both started to walk toward where Tiangong was.
It was almost evening time and Long Yuan realized that he was out for way too long and wondered whether his father was worried and started to rush toward Tiangong. He did not notice that his grip on Na'er hands was loosening and at some point, he was running on his own believing that Na'er was following him behind as he was not running very fastly, to begin with.
"Na'er welcome to TianGong" Long Yuan turned back to face Na'er after arriving at their destination which was TianGong but he soon found out that Na'er was not behind him. He panicked thinking that maybe she might have lost her way to TianGong and ran back from where he came from. He looked hard for Na'er, But he could not find her no matter what. He ran and ran and ran. He went back to the park where he first met her but there was still no clue about her.
The sun had already gone down and Long Yuan sat in the swing riding it all alone. He blamed himself for not looking after Na'er properly and cursed his past self who wanted to rush back home to not worry his father. And promised himself that he would always keep a calm mind and think things over before acting.
Long Yuan heard the footsteps of a person running. He could also hear that person panting but could not see clearly because of how dark it was. The man soon walked near him and Long Yuan was able to see him clearly.
It was a middle-aged man who seemed as if he ran a lot and was panting hard.
"Yuan'er where were you? Why did you leave without informing us of anything?!?!" The middle-aged man asked Long Yuan with worry apparent in his eyes.
"I'm sorry father." Long Yuan replied while tightening his grip on the swing. He did not want to show his father what face he was making right now.
Lin Tian noticed that his son was not in the right state of mind and took a deep breath to calm himself down. He sat down in a swing next to his son and asked him calmly about what happened. Long Yuan replied to him telling him all about what happened today with the girl he met at this very same park today and how she had big eyes and long eyelashes just like him. And went on telling his father about what they did with a slight smile on his face.
"So you made a new little friend. Where is she?" Lin Tian asked his son calmly, letting him explain what happened at his own pace.
"This…" Long Yuan made a complicated expression on his face. He told his father that her name was Na'er and that she could not remember where she came from and who her parents were. And then later explained to his father that when they were on their way to TianGong he took back the hand which was holding on to Na'er's and she went missing. He also told his father that he looked for her a lot after that and started crying.
"Son, It's fine. Don't worry now. You must remember that it is important to remain calm and collected in all kinds of situations so that you don't lose sight of what's important to you" Lin Tian took Long Yuan into his arms and started steadily patting his head. Lin Tian felt complicated inside he did not want his son to go through the feeling of losing something important this early in life.
"Son, Let's go back home. Father will try his best to find Na'er for you" Lin Tian told his son trying to console him. Long Yuan soon fell asleep in his father's arms and Lin Tian took him back home and explained the situation to Mei Gong, Who was worried sick about her son who went missing and now was even more worried as her son went through something difficult.
"Honey, Won't it be difficult for our son if we were to leave him as he is right now?" Mei Gong asked her husband while showing a worried expression on her face. She looked as if she was going to cry.
"Don't worry Mei, our son will be able to handle all sorts of hardships but right now I should focus on trying to find that girl for him so he has less to worry about." Lin Tian told his wife while showing a determined expression on her face.
"Please come back soon." Mei gong told Lin tian then headed off to Long Yuan's bedroom to lay him there.
"Yuan'er I hope you won't hate us. I will always love you as your mother." Mei Gong told her son while placing her lips against his forehead. She wept slightly and left for her room to not disturb her son who was sleeping.
Tragedies lead to more tragedies. But in the end it may lead to happiness.
