Chapter 7: Golden Evolution Point

Yao Xuan discovered that Tang Wulin, the "protagonist," was the best source to acquire golden evolution points and that he was the ideal person to use in order to obtain them.

It would be easy for him to obtain golden evolution points as long as he used the 'protagonist' properly.

"Gu Yuena, the Silver Dragon King, comes to mind now that I think about it. If everything goes as normal, she will soon transform into a human form and enter human society as Na'er, losing her memories. I can use this information to my advantage. I should probably save her before Tang Wulin does, so she can form an attachment to me!"

(When Na'er first met Tang Wulin, her memories were buried and she had forgotten her main mission; however, after Tang Wulin's family agreed to adopt her, she learned about human emotions and quickly formed a bond with Tang Wulin and his adoptive parents.)

(You may also be wondering why he doesn't mind using children and others to further his own goals. The answer is that this world is extremely dangerous, and one may perish as a result of their weakness or lack of connections with powerful beings. He will not, however, grow into a heartless android with mechanical thinking.)

While thinking meticulously in his mind , Yao Xuan made arrangements and plans for the future.

Just as Yao Xuan was thinking, Lin Ximeng walked out of the kitchen carrying freshly cooked food.

"Yao Xuan, come and eat quickly."

She frequently prepares meals for herself because she lives alone, so her culinary abilities weren't bad. After dinner, Lin Ximeng helped Yao Xuan clean his bedroom.

At least for the next three years, this will be his new house.

...

The following morning at six o'clock, Lin Ximeng called Yao Xuan.

"Yao Xuan, get up; it's time to go to school."

Today was the last day of enrolment. Yao Xuan will begin formal studies at Red Mountain Academy and will enter the spirit master class to start his three years of study.

The Sun Moon federation requires children to attend elementary and intermediate/secondary academies for compulsory education. Primary academies have a three-year academic year, while intermediate academies have a six-year academic year. Whether they receive spirit master training or not, it lasts the same amount of time.

(This means that the amount of time spent in each stage of school is the same for both regular schools and schools for spirit masters.) Elementary school lasts three years, followed by intermediate school for six years.)

Children enrolled in the Elementary Spirit Master Academy may continue their studies in the Intermediate Spirit Master Academy if they Reach the 10th level and are promoted to the rank of Spirit Master within three years; otherwise, they must transfer to the Normal Academy.

To enrol in the advanced Spirit Master Academy, you must meet even more stringent requirements. Many people have been unable to cross the threshold because they were not able to reach the rank of spirit elder before the age of fifteen.

Yao Xuan followed Lin Ximeng to the classroom after breakfast. There were up to a thousand ordinary students in the first grade alone at Red Mountain Academy, compared to only 16 students in the spirit master class.

Children who possess spirit power when their spirit awakens are quite rare in the Douluo world. This is especially true in a small city like Glory bound City, where no significant Spirit clans exist. Nonetheless, sixteen students is the highest enrolment in the previous five years. In some years, there was not even one entry into the spirit master class.

The spirit master class takes up less than one-third of the time of the regular class, where normal education is taught. The majority of the time is spent teaching students cultivation methods, spirit power control, and the knowledge required to become a spirit master in order to provide them with the spirit power and knowledge required to enrol in the intermediate spirit academy.

Looking at the children in front of her, Lin Ximeng showed a kind smile on her face and spoke softly.

"Good morning to you all. My name is Lin Ximeng, and I'm the teacher of your homeroom. I will teach you the basics of becoming a spirit master over the course of the following three years. We will now have a brief introduction of each person, their martial spirit, and their innate spirit power. Let's start with you, Yao Xuan."

"Hello everyone, my name is Yao Xuan and my spirit is an earth dragon, whilst my innate spirit power is level 6." Taking a step forward, Yao Xuan confidently introduced himself.

Since Yao Xuan had no desire to exhibit his genuine martial spirit, he adopted the false information since the spirit pagoda spirit master had registered his spirit as an earth dragon on official information.

"An earth dragon, wow. This martial spirit should be particularly strong if it is tied to a dragon.

"Yes, I have heard that all martial spirits are extremely potent as long as the term dragon is there."

"Yes, it should be a very powerful martial spirit."

As they listened to Yao Xuan's self-introduction, the eyes of the surrounding children flashed with envy, and they started talking as the classroom soon became lively.

Lin Ximeng listened to the children's discussion and spoke with a smile.

"Show them your martial spirit as everyone thinks it's strong."

"Okay, Teacher Lin."

The Ancestral Dragon Martial Spirit appeared on Yao Xuan's hand as a faint nine-coloured light soon gathered in front of him in response to his thoughts.

The majority of the kids' joy quickly subsided when they saw Yao Xuan's martial spirit.

Yao Xuan's ancestral dragon martial spirit did not appear to be as strong and authoritarian as the kids had imagined.

"Who or what is this spirit? That weird sensation has returned!"

A young lad with short black hair, wide-set eyes, and a modest demeanour appeared shocked among the kids at that same moment.

It goes without saying that Tang Wulin was that little boy. Tang Wulin experienced an abrupt increase in blood flow, a minor reddening of his complexion, and his body surface emitted a faint golden light that could not be perceived by the naked eye.

"Okay, that was a very good demonstration, Yao Xuan. Okay, next, this student, it's your turn."

Yao Xuan pulled back after hearing Lin Ximeng's comments, and Tang Wulin's physical anomaly also vanished as a result.

The class members then made their introductions as they entered the stage one by one.

However, when the kids heard Tang Wulin's introduction, they all began laughing, causing Tang Wulin's little face to flush with embarrassment and turn upset.

"Don't mock Wulin. Did you forget that even though the blue silver grass spirit is common, the famous Sea God, who ascended 20,000 years ago, also had blue silver grass as his martial spirit?Even if his martial spirit is not as good as everyone else's, Wulin will be our classmate for the next three years, so we should not laugh at him, but instead help him more. "

Yao Xuan did not laugh as he observed his classmates laughing around him, but instead offered advice.

Tang Wulin's heart began to warm as he listened to Yao Xuan's remarks, and he glanced at Yao Xuan with a hint of gratitude.

"Thank you!"

At that precise moment, the system's frigid voice began to resound in Yao Xuan's consciousness.

[Ding! Tang Wulin has expressed his gratitude to you. You have acquired a golden evolution point x1! ]

"I had no idea that simply discussing Tang Wulin with the students would earn me one golden evolution point. It's exactly what I expected: I can get a lot of golden evolution points with Wulin. It would be great if we could get to know each other before I try to convince him that I am his friend."

Despite the fact that 1 point of golden evolution may not seem like much, it will take more than three months to cultivate it normally. It's not a small quantity for the current Yao Xuan.

With his knowledge, he will have no trouble harvesting golden evolution points from Tang Wulin. Yao Xuan decided to allow Tang Wulin to regard him as a friend.
